This rehab facility is incredible! I know that recovery is hard, but the staff will always support you through it!!! Nice facility but the real beauty of this program is the staff and the mindset. The counselors meet you where you are at and help you make a recovery plan that’s individualized and short term goals to help build a groundwork for success. My experience with the staff on all levels was positive. When I transferred to this level of care staff stayed late on a Friday night to make me feel welcome and keep my care continuous to support success. My counselor Michael was a great guy; extremely easy to open up to and made me feel at ease. They also are multifaceted in that they also have a faith based element which they do not push, but if it is something you are comfortable with they will tie into your treatment to strengthen your chance for success. All my thanks and appreciation to New Chapter for walking with me in my journey.

If you’re looking for an IOP in NJ that works with a busy schedule, this is it. I did morning groups before work and sometimes switched to evening sessions when my shifts changed. Having both options made it possible to keep my job and stay consistent in treatment. Family sessions helped us reset boundaries at home, and the follow-ups kept me accountable as I transitioned down in care. I’m six months sober and still using the tools I learned there.

I chose this iop because I needed structure without leaving home for weeks. The team set clear steps for me, and when we talked about medication-assisted treatment, they educated me thoroughly. Getting a Vivitrol shot before I finished the program eased the cravings enough for the therapy to sink in. Stepping down into outpatient kept me connected so the progress didn’t fade once life got busy again. I felt supported, informed, and never pressured.

I came to New Chapter from another IOP and it just wasn’t fulfilling me. I was sad and broken. I knew I needed to go another direction. New Chapter helped me learn not just about recovery but also about faith. Every session was we learn and talk about something new and inspiring.
