I have been receiving Vivistim OT with Kara for about 8 months. My progress has been amazing. Kara designs her therapy around my goals so it’s very personal to my needs. My experience with Caroline was great as well. Run, walk or roll to Neubility, you won’t be disappointed.
While participating in OT, I asked about PT for better walking. I worked with Dr. Zac and in 7 months I improved my speed by quite a bit even after 5 years post stroke. I was able to walk around NYC and keep up with my friends. Thank you, Dr Zac for helping me achieve my goals.
My mother has brain cancer. Since her surgery to resect most of the tumor her mobility has declined drastically. Her balance was non existent and she couldn’t do anything on her own. She was in a rehab for a couple of weeks that was very unpleasant. We are so lucky to have found the staff at Neubility. It’s an intimate little studio with all the equipment and expertise to help my mom and others regain their independence. We always feel welcomed and comfortable seeing the same therapists, rather than some huge rehab where you see someone different everyday. My mom has progressed a lot in a month and we look forward to seeing how far she can go. Highly recommended Neubility.

I am three years out from a stroke which affected the left side of my body. After attending PT and OT I decided that there was more that I hoped to do. I contacted Encompass Rehab to explore my options. It was then when I was told about Neubility and decided to attend.
I could immediately tell that Neubility was well equipped to deal with serious brain injuries and deficits from stroke to Parkinson's disease among 0thers.
I was assigned to Dr. Zak Kimmett & Kara Eldridge for an evaluation and treatment. They paid close attention to where I was with a professional eye assessing what is needed to be done to achieve my goals. They work together seamlessly.
As a stroke survivor I understand that I will never have my old life back, but I know that Neubility, their highly trained staff and appropriate equipment and safety approach will deliver me to a level of function I could only hope for previously.
I highly recommend Neubility to those who seek comfort and relief in doing and being all that one can do to make those life improvements.
Sincerely,
Cynthia Jaffe

Earlier this year, my husband participated in a two week intensive Parkinson’s program at Neubility Rehabilitation and Wellness. He admits that he was not too enthusiastic about making the commitment. However, he challenged himself to do so, and it’s made a positive difference in his wellbeing.
After the two week program, my husband continues therapy at Neubility. The individual attention provided by his Physical Therapist, Dr. Bridget, and his Occupational Therapist, Dr. Kara, is definitely beneficial to his everyday life.
My husband and I are grateful to be associated with Neubility and the wonderful people who make it all happen!

If it is something you guys may be interested in, I can give you a few names/referrals.
My experience with Neubility was initially very positive with Dr. Becca Canizares. Becca not only who knew how to provide physical therapy with ALS patients, but she did so with a great deal of understanding and compassion.
Unfortunately, Han Nguyen (the owner) fails to demonstrate the the same degree of compassion as Becca or the high degree that she falsely portrays to the public. For example, I missed my last appointment when I suddenly experienced an ALS related episode as I was preparing to leave my home. There was no way I could make it at the appointed time let alone do any of the physical therapy exercises. I immediately got to my bed and rested for several hours. Later that night when I woke up I found a message on my cell phone from Becca expressing concern over my well being. Looking further down my message list, I also found a message from Han reminding me that I will now be charged an $80.00 fee for missing my appointment. There was no concern expressed about my welfare. There was, however, concern expressed about how my missed appointment affected her business, future bookings, financial impact on employees, etc.
I was more than accommodating when Becca asked me to rearrange my schedule to help her see other patients. But Han disregards this and other legitimate circumstances all in the name of business policy and an owner's financial well-being.
You may want to consider this experience before deciding on a provider.

Dear Mr. Kearney,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and for the kind words about Dr. Becca Canizares. Her deep compassion and skill working with ALS patients are qualities we value greatly, and we’re glad she made a meaningful impact during your care.
That said, I’m truly sorry to hear that your recent experience left you feeling unsupported—particularly during a difficult health episode. As the owner, it is never my intention to come across as impersonal or insensitive, and I take full responsibility if our communication felt that way. I started this practice from the ground up with nothing, because as a therapist working in a big corporate hospital I saw the need to serve the community. If it was ever about money, or financial gains, I would have continue working at the big hospital.
Regarding the missed appointment, we made multiple efforts to reach out during the previous two no-shows to ensure your well-being and clarify scheduling needs. The first time being your evaluation, and we gently reminded you about the policy when you filled out your intake paperwork During the second no-show appointment, we also reached out to ensure you were ok. We then gently reminded you that we needed 24 hour notice so that we could get patients who are on the waiting list on the schedule, that way it does not impact their ability to get care. I also want to make it very clear that THERE WAS NEVER A CHARGE, We DO NOT charge your card without your consent. At your most recent missed session, we waited and attempted to contact you again, and did not hear back until approximately 30 minutes past the appointment time. While our late cancellation/no show policy is in place to help us remain available and fair to all patients, especially those waiting for open slots, it is never intended to dismiss legitimate health-related emergencies.
We recognize that living with ALS involves unpredictability, and we strive to be as flexible and human-centered as possible within those realities. Your past willingness to adjust your schedule to accommodate others was genuinely appreciated, and we are sorry that you feel that consideration wasn’t mutual.
We hope you continue to get the care that you need and we wish you the best in your continual fight of your condition.

Neubility was recommended by social worker from Encompass Acute rehab as a strong therapy option after a rehab stay. As a family member looking for the best options to get as much function back after a stroke I could not be happier with my choice . Han coordinated our care in the home for a couple of weeks and then we started on site once we got our feet under us . Hope is powerful thing . I have watched other clients with severe deficits improve while on our own journey. My mother feels she is heard and her concerns incorporated in her treatments .. thank you :)

Thank you for your wonderful review, Dustin! We're thrilled to hear about your positive experience with our physical therapists. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to see you at future courses!
I saw Kara for OT for stroke recovery during February. Kara was great to work with. She listened to what I wanted to work on and developed a program to address those needs. She challenged me each session and I saw progress each time. In only 1 month, I was able to progress beyond my expectations. Kara gave me things to work on in between my sessions with her which helped to keep my progress moving forward. When Kara reevaluated my during my last session, I surpassed the goals she set for me. When I got home and resumed OT, the OT was totally surprised at how much I had progressed! Kara & Neubility are great to work with.
