Nov 2025- magic trek with Nepal Gateway Trekking(NGT)! Our group of 8 ( eldest 77 to youngest 45) from Tasmania Australia & New Zealand could not have had a smoother trip nor better weather! Landed in Kathmandu, greeted at the airport by Raj and taken to Wood Apple Hotel in Thamel district. High on a hill overlooking Kathmandu. A couple days of brilliant historic tours in and around Kathmandu organised by NGT before our 12 day trek. Landed in Lukla up to Namche Bazaar 2 nights for acclimatisation. Up to Gokyo Lakes- 2 nights for acclimatisation before heading up and over Renjo La (Pass)! Views of Mt Everest Lhotse and 8000+ peaks incredible! Beautiful people & taste food- Trip of a life time so worth the effort!

First visit to Nepal This was my first visit to Nepal and it was an amazing experience trekking the Gokyo Lakes circuit with Raj, Anjun and their team. I always felt safe, cared for and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. Raj is a wealth of knowledge, pointing out local animals, plants and we learnt so much about the history and culture of this beautiful region. I totally enjoyed the trek, food was amazing and all support was first class. I look forward to returning and will definitely look to Nepal Gateway Trekking for the next trip.

Ram Adhikari and his highly trained Sherpa Our trip to Everest Base Camp with Nepal Gateway trekking was an ‘experience of the lifetime’! Ram Adhikari and his staff of extraordinarily well trained Sherpa guides took care of every detail. Our excursion in Kathmandu, flight to Lukla followed by multiple days of trek via Namche Bazaar to EBC and Kala Pathar, were meticulously planned. Guides provided personalized attention to make the trip memorable despite challenges faced by a few of our team members. Nepal Gateway folks immediately pivoted and made alternate arrangements to respond to issues in real-time. Accommodations were ‘best of class’ at each location with private bathrooms, heated blankets and outstanding meals. Several of our team members are planning repeat excursions with Nepal Gateway. Highly recommended for trekking trips at all levels of difficulty across Nepal!

My First Trekking Experience This was my very first trekking experience, and i went with my boyfriend.Our guide was very caring, professional, and well organized. Trekking in December was new for me, and I got tired and sick because of the weather, but our guide Nir took great care of me, waited patiently, and even helped carry my bag.Everything went smoothly, and it became a happy and memorable trip. Even though I’m back home now, I still miss Namche Bazaar. I will definitely come back again and choose this tour package next time too. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Looked after from start to finish by Nepal Gateway Trekking Nepal Gateway set the standards for service and hospitality. They welcome you to Nepal as soon as you arrive and manage everything from airport transfers, pre and post trek hotels (very nice hotels!) and everything you could need on the trek. In the mountains, you can't guarantee everything will go to plan, but when the need arises they are there to fix any issues. I've done two trips with Nepal Gateway Trekking, once as a couple and once with my family and will book again in future. Thanks Ram, Rewanta, Nir and team!

An Amazing Experience With Nepal Gateway Trekking I have travelled to Nepal four times now (Everest Base Camp, Manaslu Circuit, Langtang Valley + Gosaikunda Lakes and Gokyo Lakes) and every time I have booked with Nepal Gateway Trekking. I have travelled with a group of 8-10 people each time. The service from the team there is second to none and everything you need is taken care of for your trip. Superb Annapurna Base Camp My first time in Nepal, ABC, lucked out with this company. The owner is a brilliant guy, the guides so knowledgeable, answered all the groups questions with great detail. The porters were great fun too which is just what you need several days into your first trek. Accommodation and food was all prearranged and was spot on. The November weather was hot in the day and cold at dusk but no rain! Woo! When I return to Nepal and the Himalayas I’ll be back in touch with these guys as I’ve full trust in them now. Friends for life!!

Nepal Gateway Trekking Gokyo Trek. Amazing Back in November 2025. Barely a month ago a group of Tasmanian and a Kiwi travelled to Nepal and joined Raj and Anjan who work with Nepal Gateway Trekking who had organised a trek to Gokyo and Renjo La Pass. This was my 3rd trip to Nepal and 2nd time using Nepal Gateway Trekking who provide amazing Trekking journeys within Nepal. Our journey started in Kathmandu to prepare for our trip. We started with a flight up to the village of Lukla where we commenced the 12 day trek to Gokyo into the Everest National park. We climbed up to the village of Namche Bazaar. Day 6 saw the group reach Gokyo lake and village, a magic location at 4800metres. Regrettably for me I was suffering from some altitude sickness so in consultation with Raj our wonderful leader, and a visit to a doctor. They recommended a trip back down to lower altitudes to alleviate the symptoms. A short helicopter flight back down to Namche helped with my recovery and the rest of the group continued up to the high point of Renjo La Pass 5364 metres. Fabulous autumn weather created perfect conditions to view 4x 8000 metre peaks, Mnt Everest, Lhotse andNearby Cho Oyu and Makalu. After this highlight the group descended down via Landen and Thame and back to Namche where I rejoined the group for the walk out. Raj and Nepal Gateway Trekking really did an amazing job, looking after all our needs. From planning and booking flights and accommodation, allmeals, Trekking permits and entrance fees. All the staff are very professional and friendly . They really go above and beyond in their efforts to make you have the best and most positive experience. Incredible Gokyo lakes experience We undertook the Gokyo lakes trek led by Raj. It was an incredible experience and the best of the 3 hikes I’ve experienced in Nepal. This trek took us much closer and further into the mountains than I’ve been before. The lakes were incredible and was amazing to hear the cracking of the lake as the water froze and expanded.Raj took amazing care of us ensuring we acclimatised safely. His knowledge and passion of the area was infectious.Thank you for an unforgettable trip.

I have been working with Ram from Nepal Gateway trekking for the last 16 months on a modified version of the Annapurna Circuit. Over the period we have modified the hike as well as added and removed people as required. Despite the number of changes our group has asked for, the whole process has been very easy, and nothing has been too hard for Ram to organise. Ram was also very helpful with estimating additional costs like cold drinks on the trek and how much to tip the porters and guide. Ram runs a very professional local organisation. One of the reasons we choose Nepal Gateway Trekking was because it is a local company and all profits stay in Nepal. We arrived and departed Kathmandu on 3 separate flights and there were no issues or additional costs for the multiply trips to and from the airport. Once in Kathmandu we met our guide, another Ram. We also had an assistant guide and 3 porters for us 7 hikes. The trek as amazing as expected. However, the guides and ported really added value to the hike. The agenda was flexible and the emphasis was on all trekkers completing this hike. Once over the high pass we made several changes to the itinerary, swapping some walking for Jeeps. Again, nothing was too difficult to arrange. The trek accommodation and good was much better than we were expecting. Ram went out of his way to ensure we all had good rooms and attached bathrooms were available Our hike included all meals on the trek and breakfast on Kathmandu and Pokhara. There was no hidden cost with Ram being upfront on all costs. Would 100% recommend these guys for trekking. I hope to be back in Nepal soon and would definitely use Nepal Gateway Trekking again.

Having been on many trips around the world with friends, when trekking in the Himalayas was suggested I immediately thought of harsh survival conditions- I couldn’t have been more wrong! Our trek to Annapurna base camp was an adventure I’ll never forget. The scenery was breathtaking, snow capped mountains under blue sky. Enroute we passed through lush green valleys, crossed eye watering suspended bridges and even bathed in thermal pools. Stopping for a coffee and snack in the picturesque villages was a well deserved treat. Our crew was top class, lead by Ram Godar who ensured we wanted for nothing from dawn til dusk and always with a genuine smile on his face, we knew we were in good hands. This wasn’t just a trip, it was an adventure, don’t think about it - just do it!I would say it was a trip of a lifetime but I’m going back for more😂 Pics don’t do it justice

Nepal Gateway Trekking is a wonderful company with a great team and Ram is supportive and really great with communication. Could not recommend them enough if you want to come over and do a trek in Nepal! My mum and I completed the Mardi Himal trek in December and it was fantastic, everything is very organised and the team, Anjan and Prakash were so fantastic. Could not recommend this group enough!
