This laundromat is exceptional in that the service is informative, attentive, practical and empowering. I was guided through every stage of my laundry tasks, from determining the weight of my loads to choosing the best machine for my volume and fabric type. Gustavo is an excellent customer care provider because he made me feel like family and like I was the most important person in the room. It’s worth the 10 minute drive from my house. That the only noise in the facility is the gentle spinning, soaking, folding and intermittent click of a machine plus the fluffing sound of clothes being lovingly folded, is in and of itself reason to visit this laundromat. I love that I can bring a book to read or engage in a conversation with my fellow laundry doers without the distraction of loud music or televisions. Reminds me of the good ole’ days from my childhood when we used those little white machines with the flip lids for $1 a pop. While the days of $1 washing machines are behind us, I can say that many happy days at Neighborhood Laundry are ahead of me due to the excellence of this facility. It’s well maintained and welcoming. I can’t wait to feel the clean sheets in my hands as I fold them, knowing if I need anything at all, Gustavo will be just one request for help away! Five stars!
