Authentic and home made Persian food in the heart of manhattan? Yes please 😋 tasted like eating at my mom’s house. Taste was on point and the ambience, persian music, and hospitality top notch. I loved that each dish came with a piece of tahdig!! And the chicken soup reminded me of the taste our neighbor/family friend in Iran would make - perfect with the thin reshteh 😋 delicious all around
First outing to a truly Persian restaurant. The portions were HUGE. My wife and I had two entrees and yoghurt/bread, and while usually clean up anything left I had to throw in the towel with a lot left. Waitresses were kind and helpful. Place was just plain awesome

Hey Joshua, we're so glad you enjoyed your first Persian feast with us! Huge portions and kind service is what we're all about, come back anytime! 😊
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, they have so much potential. The food is not good, period. We ordered an appetizer which was mainly oil. The shirazi salad is old and comes in a tiny side bowl. I was so surprised that was considered a full salad.
We both felt sick after due to the quality of the food.
The servers were nice. The food came out quickly and the ambiance is welcoming. But the food is old and low quality.

I enjoyed my visit to Nasrin Kitchen. The staff were kind and the space felt calm. The Gheymeh Nesar was excellent and stood out right away, and the kado puree was good too. The kabob was meh and the portions felt a bit small, but the overall experience was still pleasant because the stronger dishes carried the meal.

Hey Massimo, thanks for the kind words! We’re glad you loved the Gheymeh Nesar and kado puree, we'll keep working on those kabobs for you! 😊
do not recommend this restaurant at all. According to the prices listed on the menu, my order with tax should have been $44, but they charged me $54 instead. Because I wasn’t paying close attention the first time, they took advantage of that.
I went back again, and the price of my food was supposed to be $16. They also claim that you get a discount if you pay in cash, which is not true at all.
On top of that, the staff tried not to give me my full change, and when they finally returned it, they were still $2 short. I honestly don’t recommend this place because they are being dishonest and basically scamming customers

Hey Lilit, we’re really sorry to hear about your experience, it’s definitely not what we aim for! Your feedback is super important to us, and we'll work hard to make things right. 😊
I’ve never written a review (good or bad) of a restaurant until now but need to share that we had a very disappointing and underwhelming meal! Had high hopes of eating an authentic Persian meal as the reviews seem to claim, but we honestly felt it’s not that good and very overpriced. And on top of than we were overcharged for Gheymeh Nasar , a dish listed at $30 on the main menu that I was told would have Gheymeh “under the rice” but instead had no Gheymeh ( yellow lentil stew) but only had the rice and beef neck bone, and charged $38 instead. Apparently they seem to switch ingredients from the main menu and charge a higher price under their “special menu” for the day. And $45 for a bland skewer of koobideh and chicken kebab, the latter that looked and tastes like it had no saffron in the marination (not sure if it was even marinated, at least didn’t taste like it).
The ambience of the restaurant was cute and authentic, but if you’re going to portray that, please put a bit more love into the dishes to really shine as authentic and delicious, what Persian food truly is!
One of the best lamb kababs I’ve had. The Chelo Kabab Koobideh was perfectly tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The herbal tea was equally delightful, refreshing yet soothing, and just what you want to warm up on a chilly day.
What stood out most, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, taking the time to walk me through the menu and making sure I was enjoying every bite. It’s the kind of care that makes you want to come back again and again.
