I found this company on Google under "attic fan installs near me" and used their automated phone intake to schedule an 8:00 AM quote, staying home from work specifically to be here for the contractor. After waiting for an hour with no show, I called back to check on the status, only for the automated system to inform me that they don't even offer attic fan installations. While I understand services vary, it is completely unacceptable that their automated booking allowed me to schedule an appointment for a service they don't provide, causing me to waste my morning and lose time at work. I got a text confirmation for the appointment and everything. Certainly, a person had to see this appointment and recognize it was an error. I left my contact information if someone needed to reach me.
If a company is going to rely entirely on automation, the system needs to accurately reflect what the business actually does. Incredibly frustrating experience.
UPDATE:
I’m am changing my 1 star to 3. Robin reached out to me and confirmed that they do in fact do attic fan installs and she was able to schedule an appointment for me. She was very professional and apologetic. I feel badly that this was definitely not her fault and appreciate her personal touch and accountability. We will see how the rest of this goes! I am not opposed to further editing this review should my experience continue to trend in a more positive direction.
