I am a DBKA and my relationship with Mutual Orthopedics & Prosthetics goes back 49 year's ago at their location Smithtown, NY. When I was a teenager I lived in Kingston, NY for 2 1/2 year's and Anthony Tufano Sr. would take a 6 1/2 hour round trip drive up from Long Island, to Ulster County to take care of my prosthetic needs. Anthony Tufano Jr. took the baton from his retired father, and continues to provide his patients with the best orthopedic & prosthetic care in the business. I was casted, fitted, and received a great pair of prosthetic legs before this summer of 2024. Anthony Jr. had my best interest at heart, and introduced me to the latest lightweight prosthetic feet, with shock absorber's and ankle rotation. I am very self conscious about the esthetic look of prosthetics, and Anthony Jr. once again introduced to me to a great company based in Canada that makes custom lightweight and anatomically shaped prosthetic covers. Six months later after three follow up visits and adjustments, my prosthetic limbs still fit comfortably and I am 100% satisfied. Anthony has decades of experience and his father was also a prosthetist. He is incredibly skilled as a prosthetist, he uses up to date technology, and he is kind. His staff is also kind and competent. A great team! I’ve been a double amputee almost thirty years and Ive had a lot of prosthetists. Anthony is the best! Highly recommend him as a prosthetist.
Amazing!!! My nephew was constantly getting hurt by another company who used shoddy cheap materials. But this company stepped up and now he is hopping around everywhere without cuts bruising and pain on his stump. Thank you. We are so greatful
