Ivan & Pete cleaned our chimney. They were on time and performed a spectacular service in a timely fashion. The whole process took 20-30 minutes. Ivan advised me on best practices for making a fire and maintaining a clean chimney. Dry wood and no moisture in the paper, kindling keeps the chimney cleaner longer.
Will continue to use the service of Mr. Chimney year after year.

Had to call them when it became apparent that they were not going to make the scheduled appointment time—scheduled some 3 weeks in advance. Was informed they were not going to make it and was offered another timeframe for the tech to come—not a fan of burning 6 hours of my time waiting for someone to maybe show up. Will be going with another company.

Really enjoyed working with Tim and his crew. They clearly explained the issues with the chimneys in our new house, the work that needed to be done to bring up to code, and gave a fair price for the work. I found his crew to be very respectful of our home — properly sealed off all areas to ensure no dust got into the home, cleaned up after themselves, and showed up promptly when they said they would.

You never know what you are going to get with a company you found online and haven’t verified with another homeowner in your area, but we were so pleased with the service and work we got with the team lead by Ivan and Alex from Mr Chimney. We have a GC we like who wouldn’t touch our deteriorating chimney, and all the masons we called wouldn’t go near the project either. Ivan came to inspect and diagnose our problem: natural gas exhaust improperly dealt with by previous owners was reacting to minerals in the brickwork causing acid to leech from the bricks and disintegrate before our eyes. They quoted us a rebuild of brickwork in two sections, a new cap, addressing the boot to the roofline, and a new liner. The team was careful and clean where they worked, on budget and on time. Alex carefully explained to us what he had done and addressed our concerns, and Austin (in the office) was an excellent communicator with details of schedule, scope, and payment.
Neither my husband nor myself like leaving reviews, but we both felt compelled to express our gratitude to the team. Thank you, Mr Chimney, Phil McCracken, and the Flues Brothers for your work!
