I am extremely disappointed with my experience using MovingHub/Mancini Connect and feel compelled to warn others.
After being contacted by one of your representatives, I clearly stated that I preferred to stay with my existing providers. However, the agent was very persuasive and strongly encouraged me to switch to Energy Australia for power and Dodo for internet.
I moved into my property on 01/04/2026 and, as a direct result of following this advice, I was left without power for 24 hours. This was incredibly stressful and unacceptable. I ultimately had to cancel Energy Australia and return to my original provider, AGL, who restored my electricity within 20 minutes.
Out of concern, I later checked Energy Australia’s online reviews and was shocked to see an average rating of just 1.3 stars. I am appalled that such a poorly rated provider was recommended so confidently.
Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. I also experienced significant problems trying to set up internet through Dodo, the provider you recommended. Once again, I had to revert to my original provider, Belong, to get connected without further delay.
This service, which is supposed to reduce the stress of moving, has instead created more work, inconvenience, and frustration. I initially left a 5-star review based on first impressions, but after this experience, I have revised it to 1 star.
I would strongly advise others to avoid using this service and instead arrange their own utilities directly.
