Gluten-free customers, beware: the GF Pizza is NOT gluten free. It's labeled as gluten free, but there is fine-print at the bottom of the menu (that guests of purchasers don't always see!!) that says "our gluten free pizza contains gluten". This is SO misleading not only to the gluten free community, but especially to people who are trying to cater to gluten free people with misinformation. This has caused sickness in our family several times at friends' houses (who think they're serving GF!) before we looked at the menu ourselves to find that this pizza is not in fact gluten free. Very misleading and disappointing. I called and left messages to encourage change in verbiage/communication and never heard back from anyone.

Good Evening, I’m unsure where the miscommunication is. Our GF pizza is in fact 100% GF and the disclaimer on the menu only claims that we are not an entirely GF shop and the GF flour does contains GF Wheat Starch.

Really good, medium size pizzas. Updating this review because they've gotten better at accurately estimating their wait times, expect it to be ready around an hour after you order.

Kat, we are very sorry. We try our absolute best to stay true to our times. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen. We've since implemented a new system and hopefully we will get better with times going forward.

The Best "New Haven" pizza....outside of New Haven. They also have upped the game, recently I noticed the pizza is more flavorful...not sure if the spiced up the sauce or the cheese but either way its even better than it was!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Moving Dough. We had a halloween party at our house for over 100 friends and kids and Joe and his team brought their truck with pizza ovens and served for hours. All of our friends lost their minds when they heard Moving Dough would be there and were raving at how delicious the pizza was! We had the best time and they were so awesome to us, we can't wait to have them back for the party next year!

Moving Doughs was a total lifesaver! My daughter’s soccer team had a tournament and needed a quick, delicious lunch between games. The team at Moving Doughs welcomed our group of 30 kids and adults without hesitation and made the whole experience seamless. Everyone was so kind and accommodating—it made a hectic day feel easy. The food was fantastic, and the service even better. We’ll definitely be back soon. Huge thanks to the Moving Doughs crew!

(Hired for Wedding September 2025) What a truly excellent company and equally as important excellent food! Joey from Moving Dough is a pure pleasure to work with. He was so accommodating whether it was helping us find desserts through his cousin's company or making sure we had a gluten free option for those guests. Moving Dough was very clear about their pricing structure which was very affordable! Joey checked in with us throughout the year to make sure everything was in order and that we were feeling confident about our big day. The pizza came out fast and hot. Our guests, including myself, are picky pizza eaters/have high standards for pizza, and we were all so impressed by how delicious they were. I would feel very confident to hire this team again for future events. I would 100% recommend moving dough for people looking for a fun twist at a wedding or any other party.

We hired The Moving Dough Food Truck for our Homecoming celebration, and they were fantastic! Their prices were so reasonable that we ended up using them twice during the week. Joe was amazing to work with — always in touch, organized, and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend them for any event!
