I needed help cleaning and decontaminating my basement after a sewer line backup. When I contacted Move Junk they came in 2 hours and gave me a free detailed estimate the same day on a Saturday. They scheduled the job for 2 days later. The crew was prompt, efficient, and thorough. Their price was fair and they didn't use scare tactics or try to upsell me like others did. As a local baltimore company they seemed to understand the neighborhood and what needed to be done. I would use them again for sure.

The job got done, so I can’t complain about that. They just need to be a bit more transparent with prices and perhaps a bit more professional in person. Otherwise, work was accomplished.

In August of this year, we had a bad flood in our basement that Ron and his team at Move Junk Restoration have been doing a fantastic job at mitigating. They were prompt in their response when we first called, getting people out the day we found the standing water. He diagnosed us with a jammed sump pump and got to work taking care of it. He even found out that our drywall was retaining water and molding, which explained why everyone in the house had been struggling with upper respiratory infections for the past couple years. It was a completely separate issue from the flood that we would never have known about without Ron. We had to pause mitigation to put in waterproofing, and Ron worked around our schedule. I highly recommend him and his team at Move Junk Restoration. Your project is in good hands with this company!
