Old Mount Dora Carriage Company Tours We visited Mount Dora December 9th - 13th 2025. While there, we went on the Historic AND Christmas Lights tours with the Old Mount Dora Carriage Company. Colleen was our tour guide for both tours. She made the history come alive and was very knowledgeable. The night tour of Christmas lights was beautiful and showed the Christmas Spirit that Mount Dora has. The carriages reflect horse drawn carriages but they are electric, making the ride both clean and quiet so you can hear the tour guide. I highly recommend this company for great tours.

We had the most wonderful time on our carriage ride with Olde Mount Dora Carriage Company! Our driver, Colleen, was absolutely amazing—so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel extra special. The carriage was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights, and my toddler was completely mesmerized. He loved looking out at all the sights and lights along the way and was so engaged the entire ride, which made it even more magical for us. To top it all off, we enjoyed the most delicious chocolate treats from KKO—such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the evening feel cozy and festive. If you’re visiting Mount Dora, this carriage ride is a must-do! It’s relaxing, family-friendly, and full of charm. My wife and I visited Mt. Dora for our anniversary. One of the things we had scheduled shortly after our arrival was a historic carriage tour. Colleen was our guide, and she was fantastic! She was super knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. It couldn't have been a better way to start our anniversary vacation!

We had a wonderful tour with Colleen. She was so knowledgeable about all aspects of Mt. Dora. She was kind and went above and beyond to make our ride special. This is a great way to see Mt. Dora and get a lay of the land. We would do it again and we probably will at Christmas time, when the lights are up.

A Must Do in Mt Dora Great tour with Colleen. The ride took us everywhere we needed to go to see the beautiful town of Mt. Dora, She went above and beyond to make our tour special. We recommend this tour to anyone coming to the town for the first time. Her suggestions for places to eat were spot on.

Our "ride and dine" carriage ride around Mt. Dora was amazing! Our driver, Colleen, was so nice and knowledgeable about about the city...she really made the ride interesting and fun! The wine was perfect, the pizza delicious, and we enjoyed both as we were liesurely driven around all the points of interest of this beautiful, quaint city. Watching the stunning sunset over Lake Dora at the end of our ride was the icing on the cake! Colleen made us feel very special and we would do this again in a heartbeat.

I'm so glad l booked this experience! | was celebrating a special anniversary this past weekend and the Olde Mount Dora Carriage made it a perfect night:). The Carriage was decorated with beautiful lights, played romantic music and had a big soft blanket to cuddle with! I will definitely be booking again! This is a MUST see to enjoy beautiful historic Mt. Dora :)
