A Must Do for Car and Motorcycle Enthusiasts
My wife and I went to this museum and think it's one of the best auto museums we've been to...and we've been to them all over the world. The museum consists of two large buildings packed with cars, motorcycles, antique kids' pedal cars, models, parts and other memorabilia. The place is spic-n-span clean with just enough hint of motor oil that you know you are in a huge garage. They've got a lot of Australian-made cars but also a number of American and Asian made also. The staff is very friendly as well. In fact, my wife had emailed them well before opening, asking why on-line ticket sales seemed to be restricted; she got a fast response saying that they don't like to sell tickets too late in the day because then if guests arrive very late they don't get to see everything before closing. We met the volunteer who had corresponded with my wife..very friendly guy and very motivated towards ensuring all visitors have a great experience. We really enjoyed our time here.

Pretty amazing
If your a car buff, outstanding- clearly put together with a labour of love by car enthusiasts dedicated to caring for this fantastic collection of old cars. If you have anyone not particularly interested in motors, park them next door in the cafe with a big bit of cake and fill your boots or if your American- trunk. My favourite the unrestored MG Magnet against the wall and the MK1 Cortina. The miniature car collection is pretty amazing too.
This was a great visit. I saw much more motorcars than expected, all shown in a pretty way. A special thanks to the volunteers, very nice to speak with and they have a lot of information about the cars. Look also at the amount of model cars that they show, one of the largest amount of model cars shown at a regular motor museum, some very rare.
I recommend a visit to this museum as much as possible.

Have been to Whitemans Park so many times and always a little later in the day when the museum was closed. Didn’t have any expectations and thought it would some cars in there, but nothing out of this world.
Yesterday I had some spare time and took my son in, while we waited for the train ride. Completely blown away by it all 🤯. The collection of cars is something else and the team (all volunteers) who work there couldn’t do anymore to engage and give you all the information you need.
From start to finish this place is an absolute gem and couldn’t be any more happier with the visit. I will definitely return.

Went to the M museum with my son (16) what a treat! So many impressive, rare, interesting cars. Old cars, luxury cars, specialist cars, race cars and a huge display of motor/dirt bikes as well. Thoroughly enjoyed reading about the history of the cars and chatting to the volunteers there. Fabulous for car enthusiasts, but even for those who aren't. Leave a couple of hours to soak it all in. Loved it!
