Both of my daughters have attended Montessori Children’s Center in Centreville—my oldest from age 3 through 6, and my youngest from infancy to present. We have been extremely happy with our experience and are so glad we chose this school. The teachers truly meet children where they are and provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment. One thing that really stands out is the consistency—over the past five years, we have not experienced teacher turnover, which speaks volumes about the stability and quality of the program. The school is very professionally run, with clear and consistent communication. The director regularly shares updates on logistics, and teachers keep parents informed about their child’s progress and development. Academically, the program is very strong. Both of my children were more than prepared for kindergarten. The curriculum is also well-rounded and enriching—the school embraces different cultures and exposes children to a variety of subjects, including Spanish, yoga, and other engaging activities. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience for our family, and I would highly recommend MCC to anyone looking for a nurturing and academically strong environment for their children.

They have always helped our child to learn more and more good things .He loves going to school and he is enjoying every aspect of time here . We highly recommend this school to everyone.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at this Montessori school.Even though she is not yet two years old, she is already about 90% potty trained and has become very independent. One thing we truly appreciate is how much the teachers encourage independence. My daughter started eating by herself when she was only 16 months old, and her teachers have done a great job helping her develop good eating habits. Her teacher Ms Lock has been amazing from the infant classroom until now as she moved to the Little Montessori class. Ms Laven has also been wonderful in supporting her potty training and daily development. The biggest asset for parents is the director Ms.Rama She is fabulous and always provides great hospitality and support for families. It is clear that the school truly cares about both the children and the parents. We are very happy with our experience and grateful for such caring teachers and leadership.

My daughter was not allowed to use the bathroom and had to hold it the entire time. She was also punished for no apparent reason. She often came home from school very sad, and I felt I had no choice but to transfer her to another school right away.

I’m really disappointed with Montessori Children Center. They charge a premium by using the “Montessori” name, but they do not follow true Montessori practices in the classroom. Many of the teachers are not trained or certified in Montessori education. It feels misleading and more like a marketing tactic than a genuine Montessori environment. Overall, it’s definitely not worth the money.

MCC has amazing, super experienced teachers who just get how to encourage kids and help them shine. It’s totally family-oriented and everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The school is pretty "no frills," but don't let that fool you. They are all about providing a strong foundation. When we switched our kid from another daycare, he just thrived at this school! And can we talk about their graduation ceremony? It was genuinely top-notch! The kids had learned several cultural songs and dances, and seeing them perform was just the best. It's the kind of place that really builds confidence and a love for learning.

I’ve been so impressed with MCC. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and truly dedicated to supporting every student. Our children’s teachers, Mrs. Fatima and Mrs. Tela, are amazing—so loving and committed to their students (my little one absolutely adores them!). They contribute so much to early development, which is so essential for future success. They really set a positive tone for the school, and the whole team is always there to help. Mrs. Absi, the director, is fantastic. She’s always been incredibly supportive of us as parents and has a real sense of what’s going on with the students. It’s comforting to know that she’s got everything under control, and it gives me a real sense of security. Her leadership creates such a warm and positive environment for both students and staff. Mrs. Lilian and Mrs. Ola are incredibly supportive, creative, and focused on the academic growth of the children. They truly care about each student’s development, and their energy makes the school such a special place. I’ve seen consistent growth and progress in my children, and it’s clear that the school is focused on continuous improvement in everything they do. I also really appreciate how open and communicative they are with parents, always keeping me updated on my kids’ progress. MCC does an incredible job balancing academic excellence with personal care, and I’m so happy with the environment they’ve created. I’d highly recommend MCC to any family looking for a school that genuinely cares about its students. Thank you to all the teachers for your dedication to our children !

Making this review anonymously. Initially this school was good but standards are really coming down. They need to hire active staff who teaches alphabets and numbers to kids rather than who prefers to sit idle on chairs. Sitting idle on chairs is not going to benefit any kid in anyway. Apart from that they also give more holidays to school which do not fall in line with public holidays. Hope this message reaches to the owner of the school.

This school is amazing. Our son was here from infant to two years old before we moved. They treated him and us like family, and they helped raise our son to be a moral kid, with a great attitude that is kind to others. Beyond that, he is advanced now in his learning and knows two languages going into years old. I highly recommend this school to everyone! The past two years at the Montessori have been the most peaceful and worry-free, thanks to the incredible dedication of all the teachers. You have cared for not just our child, but every child, with such genuine heart. We’re especially going to miss Ms. Farhana, she has made such a lasting impact and built a strong foundation in our daughter’s early education. My child has attended the Infant and Toddler 1 programs at Montessori Children's Center-Herndon and our experience has been phenomenal! This is a nurturing environment where children grow in all aspects of their development. Beginning as infants, children participate in circle time each morning and are exposed to a variety of concepts. As children grow into toddlerhood, they are taught to care for their environment by cleaning their space and pushing in their chair as well as for the people around them by using “please” and “thank you” in their interactions. Gross and fine motor skills are worked on at each developmental stage starting with tummy time to using a writing utensil by toddlerhood. Children develop their language skills through music, offered once a week in English and once a week in Spanish. Classrooms are arranged for materials and activities to be accessed by children independently. Children are provided an opportunity to participate in educational activities of personal choice, following the Montessori approach. Every day my child has been at Montessori Children's Center Herndon, I have been confident they are in excellent hands and they are in an enriched learning environment!
