The instructor is really great at adapting classes to the students who are present, and proving very good feedback to students with patterns, movements, and form.
The space is very well-equipped and set up, it is welcoming to everyone and is lgbtqia2+ friendly.
The community of students is very supportive of each other, and committed to learning and improving with each other.

If you are looking to learn in an environment that will leave you feeling understood and accepted, this is the place. Sabum-nim Montaño, being neuro-divergent herself, has made me and my family feel comfortable and cared for. Also, having studied physics, she has a real understanding of how and why the movements of Taekwon-do are so effective, which she shares with her students as understanding is the key to success.
I sent an email to 88 Dragon's ITF Taekwon-Do establishment, to inquire about the self-defense classes they offer as well as signing up eventually for Taekwon-Do.
I spoke to Master Alvey who was very approachable and passionate about Taekwon-Do...calling me personally on the phone about my interest, and taking the time to advise me about what it is I should do about getting back into the martial arts.Being that I've been involved in the past with the ITF.
I'll be signing up this fall for their self- defense classs.
Thank you so much Sir for taking the time to call...its what ultimately made my decision to choose your establishment...
Kind regards...
Terry MacDonald.
