What can I say-- Rick was / is fantastic! Context-- my mother owns an 18yo ~73" Mitsubishi rear-projection TV. Picture has been great over the years and if there've been problems, it would be the bulb on its way out. So, I've changed the bulb over the years from time to time. A few months ago I bought a couple of replacement bulbs from a distributor website, that ultimately we found out just have not been up to par quality-wise. The first one lasted only about 3 months with light use of the TV. The second one didn't even work properly. I wasn't sure if the new bulb/s were the problem at first or possibly the 'power supply' was on it's way out or a combination of things-- since the TV was making noises and acting in a way I've never experienced.. That's when I looked up 'TV repair near me' and Rick's company was one that popped up. Read a few of the good reviews and gave him a call. Rick was very accommodating, knowledgeable and coached me through a few suggestions and recommendations, before booking an appointment for him to stop by, to quickly troubleshoot what was probably the main problem. His immense experience helped us tremendously to say the least! He also helped look up the proper bulb housing with a Philips bulb, and not some lesser quality bulb. Received the new Philips bulb and everything is working out fantastic again! Rick SAVED US HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS from possibly having to throw out this huge Mitsubishi and to get a new TV of similar size and quality. Thank you Rick-- you're the man! I would highly recommend Rick if you're having issues / problems TV or otherwise!

The price of that part—nearly $250 with shipping and taxes—felt outrageous to me at first! OEM parts are ridiculously expensive, but I’ve learned the hard way that cheap knockoffs from questionable sources aren’t worth the risk. I tried that once, and it was a disaster—the part failed after just a few months when it should’ve lasted years. I ended up redoing the job at my own expense, as I should have. Lesson learned!

Rick was great! He repaired our 85” Sony TV after a lightning strike and did an amazing job. He was super knowledgeable, honest, and careful, and made sure everything worked perfectly before leaving. Now it looks brand new again. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Mobile TV & Appliance Repair without hesitation or qualification. Rick has fixed multiple televisions and appliances for my family. He is always thorough, competent, a pleasure to workl with and he always does a great job. My recent experience with Rick goes above and beyond the call of duty and shows me what kind of human being Rick is. I called him as I was having trouble with my Audio Video system. Instead of charging me to come to my house like I asked him to do, he spent a lot of time with me on the phone and face time and walked me through how to fix it. He is extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem like the professional that he is. Rick would not accept any payment for his time and effort even though he earned it. If you need your television or appliances fixed, Rick is your guy. He is extremely fair and knowledgeable--The consummate professional. I called and spoke with Rick to get a quote for repairing my Sony Bravia TV. He was not only friendly and personable on the phone but also very knowledgeable. He clearly explained the pricing upfront and gave me a solid estimate of the total repair cost. Rick provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. If I choose to repair instead of replace my TV, I would definitely go with Rick.

Rick was such a nice guy and was able to come within the hour. It turns out we only had a really minor issue with our appliance so Rick said not to worry about the labor/driving out cost but next time I have any appliance issues, he will be at the top of my list.

Florida is a Sunny State that also has a lot of Shady People which come in the form of contractors - THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! I admire that Rick M. was extremely professional with me over the phone to listen, ask good questions, provided me with a way for him to document the issues I was having with my TV and then to offer remote advice, as we jointly conducted a search for a solution that restored my WIFI functionality. Many contractors would not tell you that often the cost for an onsite diagnosis and repair could exceed the cost of a simple replacement of the TV, especially in this season of holiday discounted sales of old/new inventory! Nevertheless, we worked through a few scenarios that eventually required me to manually attempt to update the firmware. The short version of an even longer story is that the WIFI was restored back into normal operation and no physical visit by him nor replacement TV was required to bring this appliance patient back to life as before. I can only say that very few contractors that I have dealt with in Florida are an professional, courteous and conscientious as this gentleman. He has also now been put on our HOA website of 'preferred' appliance vendors, for just these reasons. Just proving again that ACTIONS speak much louder than WORDS every time they are compared! Our GE Monogram Refrigerator stopped cooling. Rick was only vendor able to come same day, plus had the needed part in his truck. He was referred to us so I’m paying forward. Rick is the most honest passionate professional I have ever met. I had two interactions with Rick when I had a problem with my Samsung TV and he advised me to get rid of it and buy a new one even though it was fixable but in his professional opinion it was cheaper and more cost-effective to get a new one. The second time I called him re. a Sony TV where he apologetically said he would not be able to help me with the TV issue for many technical reasons with Sony and he explained all of them in great detail which I truly appreciated. He even went the extra mile and was looking with me at the Costco website to help me buy a new TV. At the end, I offered to send him some funds for his time and he said “Absolutely not” – Thank you, Rick, I truly appreciate you!

Called to set an appointment for a repair ended up hanging up the phone this guy wouldn’t let me get an edge in otherwise tells me I have to replace my entire screen even though I never said it was broken I’m in the middle of explaining to this gentlemen for lack of a better word that I’ve already had my set evaluated and have purchased the parts from the manufacturer and have them already he tells me it’s better to buy a new tv the repairs will be that price when I have a brand new tv I brought this year for over 3k this is what happens when customer service skills go out the window oh well I’ll take my business elsewhere

Funny, he told me that he dropped his TV, but the screen was not cracked on the outside but it was on the inside... Well, if it is cracked on the inside it is still cracked "as the panel is one piece" NO TV is cost effective to replace the panel with a new one! He called me for advise and would not listen to me, he kept talking over me... I thought he called me for a service call? I did not want to charge him for a call that I could answer over the phone for free. I did call him back and he said he would call me the next day at 10:00 "but never did". I tried very hard to maintain a 5.0 review status, but I guess I can't please everyone. He will find out that the panel is not cost effective to repair after he pays someone to come out and tell him that. Either way I wish him the best and I am sorry that he did not have the experience that he wanted with me. I take a lot of time on the phone trying to help someone at no charge "as you can see from all of my other reviews" but he just hung up on me...
