As an update after a year and a half after my no-cut lasik procedure, I went from really bad vision (-10 on both eyes with 4 and 5 diopters astigmatism) to now needing no aids and I'm at 20/25. I've had other consultations where this high of a prescription was not possible to correct, but Dr. M was able to make it happen. The pre-op and post-op care was the most work, but the procedure itself was super fast. Right after my surgery, I was given lots of instructions for the after care - this is super crucial to help with the healing. I know a selling point was the quick turn around time, but I will say for me it took about a month and a half to feel comfortable looking at screens for long periods of time and I continued doing warm compresses and took the prescribed drops religiously. My vision and eyes felt best after 7 months. Maybe I'm a slow healer, but that wasn't a problem for me, I'm still so very grateful I was able to get the procedure done. I still use systane drops regularly, but I don't have any pain or discomfort otherwise. I understand it can be pricey, but it was so worth it for me having worn glasses and contacts my whole life - and I'm not trying to get a "cheap deal" on the health of my eyes. I highly recommend and trust Dr. M, thank you!

I am celebrating my 10 year anniversary of my PKR with Dr. M! Since that time, he has checked on my eyes every year as part of my annual and it's always an enjoyable experience. Dr. M puts so much love and care into his patients, practice and staff. The office is small and a bit out of the way but the care is phenomenal! Every member of staff is kind, helpful, and patient. The surgery was completely painless and the care afterwards was short and streamlined with detailed instructions. Results are PERFECT. 20/20 vision which for the amount of astigmatism I had is honestly surprising. Dr. M really cares about doing what's best for you and your vision!
Blown away!! Words are so limited to adequately explain the impact this amazing procedure has been for me…Life changing is definitely an accurate phrase. I have had issues with my eyesight since a child with vision that has steadily decreased over the years. I have had corrected vision for over 50 years and just dealt with the hassle of contacts and glasses since seeing was more important. I was not a candidate for Lasix and approaching a cap on my contacts and usable glasses Rx options which means eventually I would be legally blind. I heard about might a potential answer for my situation with a procedure called Hyperopic PRK. Originally, I was reluctant to check into it after being told I was not a candidate for lasix as that disappointment was heartbreaking especially when I thought I may not have other options.
Dr. Mazaheri was recommended to me by another eye doctor. After the initial exam, I was overwhelmed when he told me he could help me. And he did help me. I was blown away with the overall results IMMEDIATELY following the procedure.

Worth it. Priceless procedure. Great recovery. My vision is perfect after years of having to get special lens because my eyes were so bad. (Regular lens were too thick to fit in frames) I could not wear contacts as my eyes were too sensitive and astigmatism difficulties. Zero limitations in my life that “bad eyes” brought.
Great staff. They are ready for anything. Knowledgeable, professional, and empathetic. They make sure you fully understand every step and the importance of every ‘mundane’ (it may seem like, though VERY IMPORTANT) detail. (Follow everything they say with exactness to care for your eyes!)

2025 update: I injured my eye and almost lost sight due to my own idiocy. Dr. M and his staff saved it! A true miracle! I felt awful for interrupting their Christmas holiday but so grateful that they gave me 1000% despite it all. Especially because everywhere else was closed.
