Snails pace!
MJP are helping us with the sale of our 2bdr purpose built flat in London (Chandler Way). Nothing special about the property. But it’s now 5th month since they are dealing with this sale.
They send one email per week - it seems - by the tread of communications. Snails pace!
We may even lose the buyer at this rate - and so I will recommend to KfH that MJP are not only useless but even counterproductive, and to not recommend them to their buyers

Arranged for exchange and completion of my property sale on the same day when they knew the equity funds had to be sent the day before because the clients solicitors were closed on a training course. Resulted in not completing on the same day and extra removal/ delivery costs

This is the 2nd time I have used MJP when selling and buying our house.
The online portal is brilliant for keeping up to date with progress, seeing correspondence between all parties, uploading/downloading documents and communicating with the team at MJP. If you need to speak to someone in person you can request a call back, but 99% can be managed online. It is a great system.
Their fees are reasonable for the services provided, I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will certainly use them again in my next move.

I was a first time buyer so have no first hand experiences of other conveyors but have heard horror stories from friends and family about experiences they have had.
From start to finish MJP were clear, efficient and incredibly helpful.
The online portal login makes it super easy to locate any documents with none being lost in large email chains.
When asking questions about our transaction we would often receive responses within 10-15 minutes of our message.
I intend to never use an alternative conveyancer and would return to MJP for any future property transaction that I enter into.

There is a local office in Norwich where you can post the legal contracts to or hand deliver to MJP. All other paperwork can be photographed or scanned and uploaded to the portal.

I had a very good experience with MJP! I've sold one property and purchased another - everything went smoothly, and the fee was lower than the competitors'. Almost all communication took place on their online portal (it isn't the prettiest and most functional, but does its job!), which is, for me personally, preferable over phone calls.
