Our experience with David and Made in the Shade was excellent! We were in need of some type of shade covering for our back deck, that gets cooked by the sun in the evenings. David came out to our home and walked us through practical options for our space. He brought a detailed catalog with examples, photos and material samples. David was very patient with our decision making process and his access to multiple manufacturers helped us find the right product at a competitive price, saving us money in the end. His installation team was also great! Everything was installed in a timely manner and on the scheduled date. Dave walked us through every option for replacing the shading in two areas of our home and helped us land on the perfect solution for each space- motorized shades for one room and high-quality manual slider shades for the bedroom. Our goals were simple: elevate the look of our home while simplifying day-to-day use. We actually made the switch from remote-controlled blinds to manual curtains on a sleek sliding track, and we asked that the track span the entire wall — well beyond the edges of the sliding glass door. Dave made it happen without hesitation. He also went above and beyond by removing the motorized blinds we were replacing, measuring them, and reinstalling them on another sliding glass door elsewhere in the house. From product selection to the full vision we had in mind, he made the entire process effortless. Everything arrived quickly, installation was smooth and on schedule, and the finished result was exactly what we were looking for. Highly satisfied — and highly recommend.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I knew the banded style Perfect Sheer shades for your living room were going to be a huge success given all the functions you needed the Slider shades to perform: effortless motorized operations to partially filter light, completely filter light, and to clear from the glass rapidly and effortlessly was all achieved by the shade you selected for this sliding glass door.

He came to our house a few hours later and took his measurements and after selecting our color he provided a fair quote and placed the order. The installation was just three weeks later and the results are perfect! We selected top down/bottom up honeycomb shade in a light gray. They look great and function perfectly.
