Piper is amazing. She provided exceptional customer service in every step of the process. She helped me select a gorgeous fabric for my new shades, kept me informed about delivery and installation, installed the shades and taught me the charging system... and then, when we had issues with a solar panel, she worked with her colleagues to find a perfect solution for my unusual situation. She is a wonderful communicator, kind, concerned, and genuine. For me, the most important part of a decision like this is how the team handles a glitch, and they handled the heck out of it! We are thrilled with the fit, finish, appearance and function of both our motorized and manual shades. I am so impressed. I cannot recommend Piper and Made in the Shade - Bellevue more highly!

What a find! We were absolutely thrilled with the service and quality of the shades. The team is efficient and extremely professional and we absolutely love the end result. Piper took the time to take me through all variations of window cover for each and every room until I settled on something I was comfortable with from a price and finish standpoint. Just completed a remodel on our house and found Made in the Shade- Bellevue through friends. We've had blinds made in the past with other vendors. The experience with Piper and her crew was so much more thorough and thoughtful. Her willingness to come onsite multiple times to help us walk through the selection process and her thoughts on the type of blinds and color selection resulted in a truly impressive result. Everything she said and suggested was spot on. Her installation crew was incredibly courteous and clean. We couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely use Made in the Shade-Bellevue for future projects and will tell our friends to give them a call for their blind needs. Absolute 5 stars!!

We needed to replace 10 year old top/down bottom up blinds. We did extensive research and decided on Piper. Not only was her pricing competitive, but the quality was far superior than we could purchase elsewhere. Piper was very responsive, great communication and she was very upbeat. She helped us pick quality name brand blinds that made our home interior look beautiful at a competitive price. The install was outstanding and Piper's measurements were perfect. We have been very happy with the entire process. We highly recommend Made in the Shade for all your window needs. Great price, excellent quality and a no stress method to update your home - it doesn't get better than that!!!

I used Made in the Shade to add both motorized and manual shades to a new home I built in Snoqualmie. I called several shade companies and felt that Made in the Shade was the most professional in handling the initial request for quotation. I decided to use them and that turned out to be a wise decision. Piper at Made in the Shade did an absolutely outstanding job and I couldn’t be happier with the work or her management of the project. This included coordination with both my general contractor and my electrician to put in a low voltage panel to control the shades and in handling the installation and in helping me select motors for some extremely large window shades. Piper surveyed my house and provided excellent recommendations with regard to shade fabrics, helping me balance my desire for privacy and aesthetics and the results more than met my expectations. She treated my project like the shades were going into her own home. I’m sure she does this with all her clients. She offers a level of customer service that is rare these days. I could not recommend her more highly.

We hired Piper to replace 20+ year old wood blinds that really darkened our house. I really thought I wanted wood blinds again but was open to suggestions. Having Piper bring in larger samples in my home completely changed my mind. We chose electric honeycomb blinds and I can’t believe the transformation. They were installed sooner than expected. Our new home has vaulted ceilings upstairs with a row of high windows all the way around the top. It’s great for natural light in the PNW, but we also had one giant window directly facing the morning sun right over our bed, which wasn’t exactly ideal for sleep. Made in the Shade gave us a bunch of great options, considering budget and intended use, as well as what we might want to do with the other windows later on to make sure we’d have a clean and consistent aesthetic. Laid back, professional, and with zero pressure every step of the way. Even ended up getting our new blind completed and installed faster than we expected, with a highly conscientious installer who took great care around our walls and furniture. Measurements were perfect, and we have been super pleased with the light and heat blocking provided. Highly recommend! Wonderful small business that truly provides great value.
