The experience was very enjoyable. We had a pleasant evening with attentive service, and the food was delicious.

By far, the best restaurant in the village (and there are many decent places to eat). From the wonderful family and staff who run the business, we're always treated wonderfully and as individuals. The food is always delicious and plentiful! It's a lovely large restaurant with a unique interior too. Been there many times and it just gets better and better. Until next time....

Fantastic meal, yet again.

One of the worst Greek food I ever had in the UK during the last 10 years I live in country.
We were quite shocked with this restaurant as it had brilliant reviews and what we experienced is nothing like what the reviews were suggesting. To me this means that either the reviews are not original or the clientele of the restaurant could only be very local people who have never been to greek restaurants, don't know anything about greek cuisine and have clearly not eaten in any good restaurants across the UK.
Where to start honestly.. I thought that as I am Greek myself I would take my British husband to a Greek restaurant as we often do in London but this was nothing like the restaurants we have been before in London.
Unbelievably overprised (more expensive than high end Greek, Italian, French Spanish restaurants in London) and food was unacceprable. Also the restauranr is tacky and nothing close to be a high-end restaurant.
On the food, my husband got the pork cutlets which were something like £22 and to our surprise they didn't come with fries, forcing you to pay another £5 for fries as you can't eat just meat. So they force you to pay £27 for a very cheap dish. He was ecpecting that as it didn't come with fries it would come with some salad and sauce or something to the side. Nope. It was just two piecies of meat served like that on a plate. Fries were bad and from a packet.
Things got much worse. I ordered a "seabass and prawn in truffle sauce dish" which didn't sounds Greek. I asked the lady serving us how it woukd be served, and she said that again it is just the fish and it doesn't come with anything on the side but it only has truffle sauce. I said never mind and ordered it. What I received was a tiny piece of seabass which was wrapped around one prawn and had a huge amount of mushrooms on top! When I asked about it she said that she told me that there was mushroom sauce. I said no, you told me that there was truffle sauce and the menu also says truffel sauce. She then said that truffle to her understanding means mushroom.... I was struggling to explain to her that truffle doesn't mean mushroom but she wouldn't understand. We were shocked with the lack on knowledge and incompetency. She agreed to take it back and serve me something ekse but she didn't even understand the mistake. I then order a seafood linguini, which arrived 15 minutes later, by that time my husband has eaten his food and I had to eat from his food as I was starving. We didn't even eat togther and they never apologised about that.
The seafood linguini was equally utterly underwhelming. It was completely empty and I counted 1 small prawn, 1 small calamari ring and 5 mussels..... I have been having this dish in posh restaurants all over Greece South and North Italy and London and I never received anything like that. I asked cheese so that at least I will eat the plain spaggetti with something else and the lady, who must have thought that we are best driends or something told me "now, do you want me to tell you off for asking for cheese?" Apparently in her mind cheese and seafood doesn't go together, even thought the spagghetti was empty and the seafood was two spoonfulls, but the combinarion of mushroom with fish is an excellent one.
Nothing tasted Greek on the menu, the hospitality was not Greek, the food was awful and overpriced and not Greek and the atmosphere with the huge image of Athean on the wall and the poor and cheap decoration was very off and tacky.
There are very few restaurants in the UK that are decent, but this another level of bad.
I feel so sorry for the £57 we spend on nothing and the terrible evening we had. We should have just refused to eat what they served us as greek food and leave but felt too embarrashed to do this and haven't eaten anything all day so we ate it and left but this is is not even remotely Greek, it was tiny quantity and overall one of the worst, if not the worst, experience I had in a restaurant in the UK (and I visit many different restaurants all the time, at least twice a week over a decade now)
