Dr.Karp is one of the best Opthamologist in the Pines Miramar area. He performed my cataract surgery in November and I have 20/20 vision now. He is truly an awesome, genuine, and diligent doctor. My husband and I had Lasik surgery years ago. The time came where we both needed cataract surgery, Dr Karp did those surgeries as well. By the way, the lasik is still working. We drive almost 2 hours to see Dr Karp every year, we don't trust anyone else with our eyes. He is wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring. I recommend him 100%.

Dr. Karl and staff are amazing!!!’ There is nothing like sitting up after surgery and be able to see without glasses. I wish I had done this sooner. I also referred 3 friends and they were also happy with the results. Thank you to the entire staff!!!

Excellent experience. Vision is 20/15 after lasik. The day after I felt brand new. My sister went through surgery a year before me and obtained same results…procedure took 8 minutes

Absolutely amazing experience getting my LASIK done by Dr. Karp. I had been leery for years about doing it, however several other co-workers had nothing but positive things to say about their procedures, so I went for it. First and foremost, I cannot say enough about the preparation and pre-surgery due diligence done by Heather, Dr. Karp's COA, during my consultation. Heather spent as much time as was needed to dial in my vision and get the exact measurements and readings needed for my procedure. Heather explained everything that I needed to prepare for and needed to know regarding what I would be experiencing. I felt totally confident going into this, and the day of surgery, Dr. Karp had everything under control. He explained what was to come, and talked me through every step of the procedure. It is definitely an experience! While the lasers are doing their thing, there is quite a light and shape show going on. I experienced no pain at all, and the entire process was completed very quickly. Dr. Karp and Heather gave me my post-op directions, set me up with my necessary supplies, and I was done! I have had 2 follow ups, and everything is progressing and evolving as expected. My vision is better than I thought it would be. It is amazing not having to wear glasses all the time or contacts while singing. No more smudging, cleaning, or contact lense issues. Dr. Karp's professionalism and positive vibe made this experience as I had hoped, a total success. Thank you to Dr. Karp & Heather!!! Anyone not sure about LASIK, I suggest contacting the Office and setting up an appointment!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

No recomiendo a este dr, fui por un orzuelo y no me recetaron tratamiento para esto mi cita fue para tratar un orzuelo y me practicaron examanes de la vista como presion de ojo y me dilataron la pupila sin avisarme previamente sali de la oficina muy molesta porque me senti mal de mis ojos cuando me pusieron gotas por que me tenian que dilatar la pupila y medirme la presion de mi ojo? Si yo no pedi esos estudios? Desde que me hicieron eso mis ojos me arden esto fue muy irrespetuoso, ademas para la dilatacion de la pupila no puedes manejar y deben de preparar al paciente ellos no lo hicieron! Las recepcionistas dando mala atencion porque yo no estaba de acuerdo con esto! Siento que fue muy irresponsable y me fui peor de como vine. Y este dr no me quizo recetar para mi problema por eso hice la cita! Y me hicieron pagar la consulta esto es delicado fue muy horrible esta situacion yo soy una persona que no tiene ningun problema de salud en mi ojo por Que tienen que obligarme hace una dilatacion de pupila? Cuando te estoy pidiendo una cita para que me des tratamiento para mi orzuelo esto estuvo muy mal

We're sorry to hear your visit did not meet your expectations. A comprehensive eye evaluation, including checking eye pressure and dilating the pupils, is part of a full eye health assessment to ensure there are no underlying issues contributing to a condition such as a stye. We apologize if you feel this normal standard of care was not explained to you in more detail.
Dr. Karp and his staff are the best of the best! I see them annually for a very extensive eye exam. They always take their time with me and are very thorough. Dr. Karp is so kind. If I were a candidate for LASIK I would have him do it. Him and his staff care about every patient, and they make sure you have a great experience when you go. I noticed a review about the wait time. Since I’ve been a patient there for years, I can say that sometimes you do have to wait, but it’s not because they overbook or don’t care. They take their time with you and any other patient who might need a little extra time. They don’t rush you out. I’d much rather have a thorough exam and not be rushed then a quicker wait time and not receive full quality of care.
