Memphis Moon They published my book. They refuse to return my calls, emails, and questions. One has no idea if they are sharing the correct proceeds with you. They will give you a number of books sold but not from where…Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, Good Reads, etc… Beware!!

I had a dream of becoming an author and Mindstir helped me to fulfil it. Once upon a time, I had a dream of becoming an author. I dealt with agents and a slew of independent publishers and landed on a lot of slush piles. The good news was that about halfway through my journey I found Mindstir Media. I no longer had to waste my valuable time with the song and dance that authors have to deal with. Thank God for Mindstir media for making publishing attainable for authors like me.

A great alternative to publishing with Amazon I thought about going directly through Amazon's self-publishing firm but decided against it when I discovered that many brick and mortar stores will not buy your book if you publish through Amazon directly. Apparently the way Amazon has treated bookstores throughout the years has forced bookstores to fight back and not work with Amazon directly. Whether you like it or not, it makes business sense for bookstores to fight back. So I chose MindStir Media instead. They have a relationship with a huge distributor, Ingram, and because I work with MindStir Media my book is available through Ingram and thousands of bookstores. Not only do I appear more legitimate to booksellers and they won't turn me away at first glance, but having a legit distributor actually helps spur sales. See, booksellers want to work with a distributor, not Amazon. I'm overall very satisfied with my experience with MindStir Media. I recommend that you choose MindStir Media if you want your book to be available to the widest audience possible.

Trustworthy I've found this publisher to be trustworthy and transparent. At one point the book was going to have to be priced higher than I anticipated due to the page count and MindStir Media agreed to give me a deeper discount so that I could sell my book to bookstores more widely. They didn't have to do this contractually but they did it anyway because they wanted to help me drum up book sales.

New Website I had been using the same old website for years. I contacted MindStir Media and within 2 weeks a new author website was created for me to use. It's functional on all devices, looks fantastic, and serves as a home base for my author brand. I wish I did this sooner.

Good, reliable book printer I needed some copies of my book printed for a lecture and other events. They designed the book for me and got it printed with their printer in TN. It came out beautifully. The lecture was a big hit with my book front and center. I actually sold out! Nice job, Mindstir Media!

An amazing shortcut for authors I tried to get my book published 10 years ago or so and had to talk to literary agents and go through countless rejections. It was awful. MindStir, on the other hand, cuts out all of those shenangians and gets straight to the point. For a reasonable fee they'll surround you with a fleet of pros to help produce your book. No agents. No waiting for agents to respond. Just a published book as promised.
