Great staff and great training! I just got back home from pick up and do have to say that i can tell a big difference in my pup. He is still his sweet self with more confidence and obedience. I know we still have our homework to do but i honestly couldn't wait to leave a review. I personally am looking forward to bringing Peanut back for other learning opportunities and visits. I live about 45/50 minutes away and it is absolutely worth the drive. Thank you Mill Pond Kennels for all the amazing work and dedication, i sincerely appreciate all you have done for Peanut and I.

I cannot say enough good things about the trainers and staff at MPK!! I rescued a young dog that only knew his name, seemed to be reactive with other dogs, and a host of other things that were very different from what I was told. I was, frankly, very overwhelmed, completely unprepared, and felt that returning him to his previous owner was not an option for his own safety. Based on the glowing reviews, I reached out to MPK practically begging them for help. THEY WERE AMAZING. They got my doggo in right away and understood that his background, while unknown, was clearly not good. One month later and this is a completely different dog. He is happy, healthy, confident, and seems to understand that he is now a spoiled pet deserving of all the love in the world. I attribute this 180 turnaround to these wonderful people. They understand that not all dogs are the same and thus can't be treated the same, and this is very apparent on the weekly video updates. It was amazing watching my dog go from timid, anxious, and overly submissive to happy, confident, and playful over just a few weeks. I should probably also mention the basics: the facility is spotless and smells good, they did a great job giving him his several medications, dog potty spaces are separate to prevent any parasite transmission, etc. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to bring another pet here in the future and absolutely intend to board him there if/when the need arises. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mill Pond! We are so very grateful for your help and guidance!

My Belgian mal/ GSP mix trained here for 4 weeks. She still has her bubbly personality but so much more well behaved and obedient. The staff at this place is 110%. So loving towards animals. I would recommend this place to anyone who is trying to get their dog trained. Amazing place.

We sent our 1 year old pit/lab mix for the 4 week obedient training and are so happy with the outcome.
Everyone is so helpful and responsive, and they make sure that you leave with everything needed to continue the training process.
They care so much about the dogs they work with and it truly shows in their work.
We will definitely be using Mill Pond for any future boarding and grooming!

SO glad I reached out to Mill Pond Kennels on a whim when we were frustrated with a new puppy. Mark called me back the same day and gave me tons of informations. We were already SUPER impressed. Our puppy did a 6 week board and train program and that was the best investment for her and us as a family! She came back a new dog, of course we have homework to do still but such an improvement. Our pup was beyond hyperactive and more than a handful. Somehow Nikki was able to work with her. We got weekly video updates, which our kids loved, but it was so great to see the progress. The program is amazing. Nikki and Mark are such special animal people! They truly just understand dogs! Kyna also trimmed up her face while she was there and we will be back for grooming. Aspen loves going back and we’re firm believers in MPK. We only wish that we found you all sooner. Thank you for everything!!!

It takes a team to make true change! From our kennel helpers to our owners. Good job for being so involved with Louie and keeping up the training to make it successful. I found Mill Pond Kennels by chance. I sent a email requesting more info and Mark and Nikki were quick to respond. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I initially scheduled the 4 week day school program for my puppy. She was learning so quickly that during week 3 I opted for the E-collar training. I am extremely pleased with the training my puppy received. When I first brought her home I was afraid to let her off her leash for fear she would run away. Now, we play leash free at the park and the puppy never runs away or roams too far. My puppy is so well behaved bc of what she learned from Mill Pond. She doesn't jump on me or anyone else and she doesn't beg for food bc she learned the command, place. I highly recommend booking your puppy training with Mill Pond. You won't find anyone else with a better understanding of dogs and their needs!!

Good job keeping up with everything!! We love hearing about your adventures! Ecollars aren't about correction but communication. If you don't have a strong relationship with your dog then it's for nothing. You are a great example of putting in the time it takes and working with her to become that leader she was needing. You guys are awesome together! Send some pics! :D

They did so great with our cocker spaniel with grooming she is now being trained in a 6 week course. I love how much they love dogs and knowing she is in good hands. The weekly update made our day today. Our Poppy dog is the life of the party at home and I am glad she is able to be the same at doggy school
