We had an unforgettable experience at Michales’ olive oil farm. From the moment we arrived, his passion and dedication were obvious. He didn’t just show us the process he made us feel part of it. We arrived as a group of 11 people at mill.o.petres, and I felt immediately welcomed. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from the Old Olive Oil Mill , I only hoped it wouldn’t be another boring PowerPoint-style presentation with endless information.
But it was the complete opposite. Thanks to Michalis’s warm-hearted and open personality, he shared his knowledge about olives and olive oil in such a funny and engaging way that it never felt boring for a second.
I didn’t feel like my time was wasted quite the opposite. I left mill.o.petres richer than before, with new insights into quality olive oil and a real feeling for the difference it makes when someone truly loves what they are doing.
The products we tasted were all carefully selected and of high quality. I highly recommend this place ,you definitely won’t regret it ! Thank you Michalis ☀️
Geweldige rondleiding gehad door Michalis in zijn met veel geduld en kunde opgeknapte nog op de oude manier werkende coldpress olijven fabriek. Hij was een interessante verteller en had ons super verzorgd met een proeverij …die aan mij jammer genoeg door een buikloop voorbij ging. Na mijn welgemeende verontschuldiging gaf hij mij heel lief een zakje oregano en appte de volgende dag ook nog hoe het met mij ging.
Geweldig en zeker aan te bevelen en koop zeker zijn olijfolie, thuis heerlijk van genoten

Da wir mehr zur Olivenöl-Herstellung erfahren wollten, hat uns unser Gastgeber mill.o.petres empfohlen. Es war eine perfekte Erfahrung! Wir haben einfach eine Zeit ausgemacht und hatten dann unsere eigene Führung. Michalis hat uns zuerst verschiedene Olivenbäume gezeigt, welche Charakteristika sie haben und dann auch erklärt, wie die Oliven früher und heutzutage geerntet wurden. Wir durften dann die Mühle kennenlernen und sehen, wie traditionell Olivenöl hergestellt wird. Abgerundet wurde unser Besuch von einer Verkostung. Wir durften das Öl, Oliven, lokalen Honig, Graviera Käse usw. probieren. Als Michalis mitbekam, dass ich wegen meiner Zöliakie das Brot nicht essen konnte, hat er kurzerhand glutenfreies gebracht. Wow!
Alles in allem waren wir begeistert! Außerdem gibt es super süße Hunde und Katzen :)
Mill.o.petres ist eine große Empfehlung!
Nous avons débarqués un matin par hasard a la recherche d'un petit producteur d'huile d'olive. Quelle bonne surprise d'avoir les explications du propriétaire et la dégustation qui va avec. Il ne travaille qu'avec ses produits (huile olive) et son meilleur ami qui fait du miel bio. Les prix sont chers mais cela reste une petite production artisanale 500ml - 10.50€ par exemple et le petit pot de miel 6.50€. Si vous aimez les animaux vous serez gâtés, les chiens et chats du propriétaires sont très câlins !

We received an exceptional tour explaining the growing and traditional processing of olives. Explanations were very good and detailed and Michalis answered all of our many questions. He also had prepared several olive and olive-related snacks for us to try.
His two happy dogs were a plus for me, too 😅
And the most impressive part: When he heard that my girlfriend is celiac, he spontaneously hopped on his bike and returned with some gluten-free bread. Talk about going that extra mile...
Loved this tour. When we arrived my first impression was skeptical. Was totally blown away once we meant Michalis. He had such passion and energy. His knowledge and desire to persevere his culture was amazing. He respects the old and embraces the new. The cleanliness was beyond exceptional. I would trust him with my family “gold” (olives)🫒🌺🌸

We had our tour today, and it was such a wonderful experience! Even though we booked just 24 hours in advance, Michalis was so accommodating and made sure we could join the tour. We arrived before a tour had started, but Michalis was incredibly friendly and welcomed us in to visit the factory and taste the olive oil. The oil is absolutely fantastic – produced in a traditional mill that beautifully combines old methods with modern techniques. Definitely worth a visit, and a perfect place to treat yourself to some truly special olive oil.
