We had an amazing morning today at mill.o.petres! Our host was fantastic and he made the whole experience amazing from start to finish. Learning about how the olive oil is made was really interesting and a special mention to shiva the Labrador and her adorable little puppies! Everyone needs to visit this wonderful local gem

We travelled to the mill quite spontaneously. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around his property. He explained the work steps to us and showed us everything. Despite an upcoming appointment he had, he took the time for us. Thank you very much!

Great presentation, great host, great mill.

Wir hatten heute eine 1,5 stündige Tour zum Thema Olivenöl Produktion mit Michalis gebucht. Von der Ernte bis hin zur Herstellung des Olivenöls läßt diese Tour keine Wünsche offen. Michalis ist ein passionierter, super emphatischer und herzlicher Olivenöl-Fabrikant und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Der krönende Abschluss ist natürlich die Verkostung der hergestellten Produkte vor Ort. Für jeden Fan von Olivenöl ein Muß! Vielen Dank Michalis Giannina und Markus

We had a great time visiting this olive oil mill. Mikalis took the time to explain the entire process to our family and walked us through the steps. It was a great activity for our family. He is kind, hospitable and very passionate about his craft. We ended our time with olive oil tasting which was delicious. I would highly recommend reserving a visit.

We saw a sign on the road and decided to call. Michaelis said he'll be there in 20 minutes, gave us a tour around his olive mill explaing each and every step, then asked if we want to taste fresh olive oil and supplied us with cold water for the trip back. Great guy with even better honey raki

Tour this morning round mill.o.petres olive factory and groves. Wonderfully led by Michalis who was so knowledgeable and energetic and clearly loves what he does. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area and have a remote interest in olive oil.

One of the highlights on our trip to Crete! Michaelis the owner is so passionate about his craft, the tour was a blast and who can forget his adorable dog! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, be sure to call/message ahead

Ένα ταξίδι στο παρελθόν η ξενάγηση του Μιχάλη. Θυμήθηκα πως μου έλεγε ο παππούς μου ότι βγάζανε το λάδι όταν ήμουν παιδί. Ο χώρος είναι απίστευτα καθαρός κι ο Μιχάλης εξηγεί τα πάντα με λεπτομέρειες. Η γευσιγνωσία στο τέλος της ξενάγησης ήταν το καλύτερο σημείο. Φυσικά πήραμε λάδι και μέλι βιολογικό. Αξέχαστη εμπειρία που σε ταξιδεύει στο χρόνο. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ Μιχάλη.

Η καλύτερη ξενάγηση σε έναν υπέροχο παραδοσιακό χώρο. Ο Μιχάλης που είναι κ ο ιδιοκτήτης των εγκαταστάσεων φοβερός! Γευθείτε το ελαιόλαδο στην καλύτερη εκδοχή του και δεν θα το μετανιώσετε. Προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα😀

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο παραδοσιακό ελαιοτριβείο!!! Πρώτη φορά κάναμε γευσιγνωσία ελαιολάδου και ήταν μια υπέροχη εμπειρία… Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν πολυ φιλικός και είχε απάντηση σε κάθε μας ερωτηση 😄 Ευχαριστούμε πολυ, προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα για μια αξέχαστη περιήγηση στην παράδοση και στην γεύση!

When we arrived at mil.o.petres, Michalis greeted us and told us about the history of the factory and about his life and how he began working in olive oil production. He was kind, charismatic, and very charming! One can clearly see the passion he has for his work. He showed us around the factory and explained the production process. We were also able to sample not only his olive oil but also the honey and Raki that is produced by a friend of his. All of it was so delicious! Afterward, we were able to see the olive trees around the factory. Shiva (Michalis' dog) was an extra bonus for our visit! She greeted us at our car, gave us a quick sniff, and then brought us to the entrance. She was very sweet and playful, but also very well trained (no barking or jumping, just patiently waiting to be pet or played with). This was one of our favorite experiences that we had in Crete, and we highly recommend booking a tour with Michalis.
