I am the Educational Leader at Milestones South Townsville and I absolutely love coming to work every day. I have the privilege of working with an amazing team of professionals who are dedicated to guiding the children at our centre on their Lifelong Learning journey. Within my role I am also fortunate to be able to continue with my professional development through a variety of training opportunities. I am able to pass this knowledge on to both educators and families, assisting us all to navigate the wonderful world of early childhood. Milestones South Townsville is definitely my work family, and I love each and every day!
Jo you are such a valuable part of our family. The connections that you have built with the children and families are amazing. The support you give the team to be the best they can be is outstanding. We love having you as part of our family.

My daughter started at Milestones South Townsville at 15 weeks old, and everyone we’ve seen and spoken to has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. As a long awaited baby, receiving a special handmade present for my first Mother’s Day brought tears to my eyes, and seeing the photos of her each day that we attend, makes me so glad that even though I’m not with her throughout the day, I won’t miss a minute! Thanks ladies!

I simply cannot recommend this centre enough. Julie and her team are all so warm and caring to each and every child. My kids absolutely love daycare and adore all the staff. The thing I love as a parent is the communication. Julie always keeps us updated with everything in the centre and all the staff are always willing to talk to us about our kids.

It's all down to the staff. They are amazing. They know all the kids by name even if they are not in their care. When I drop off or pick up, the echo of Hi Mikey, Bye Mikey rings out around the centre. They are very inclusive. We lead by the management as well.

My son is 6 months and they have made the transition so wonderful.

We have found Milestones South Townsville to be a wonderful daycare for our child. All the staff are friendly and caring with a great sense of adventure to keep our three year old active and entertained! We highly recommend this diverse learning environment to other families!

We enrolled our 4 month and 3 year old sons at the a Centre a year ago. We have had the boys in the babies, toddlers, junior and senior kindy groups now.
This daycare was recommended by a colleague as the "best day care in Townsville" and we agree.
Julie, the Manager, is fantastic - responsive, professional, educated, compassionate and always striving for excellence at the Centre.
The Educators are professional but genuinely fun and lovely people who my family cares for. There are so many beautiful languages and cultures celebrated - my boys are learning 3 languages and have regular education and celebrations of First Nations culture.
I would highly recommend.

Julie and her wonderful team are so good with the children, very friendly and helpful to them and me when I require info/help and the environment in this place is amazing. Laura has loved the place from the moment we walked in there.Hand pump water device, chickens!! creative play aids everywhere and covered play/eating areas with a fresh sea breeze pushing through the centre, funnelling up ross creek from the ocean. This place came highly recommended to me from a lovely lady at my son's school who has a child here and I have been very grateful for this insight. I wish I had enrolled her here much earlier. There is so much to say about this amazing Centre. From the moment you walk through the door you feel a sense of belonging!
The outdoor environment is a tropical oasis where you could happily spend your entire day.
The team are so passionate and caring with the children and will go above and beyond to ensure your child's happiness and safety.
The Centre Manager is just lovely, along with her assistant manager. Nothing is a hassle with the team here....its definitely a Centre anyone would love !

I moved my daughter from another centre as I wanted her to both mix with other ages and spend time with her own. The staff were amazing during the transition and she’s so much happier. I still get the occasional drop off tears but the activities and the amazing outdoor areas keep her busy and pick up is usually 20 minutes of her leading me around and showing me things. So grateful I found Milestones!

I couldn't recommend Milestones Early Learning South Townsville any higher! After touring many facilities around Townsville, my ex partner and I decided on this center and we couldn't be happier! not only do both our boys love going to daycare daily, but the entire staff group go above and beyond every single day without hesitation to provide the little ones with new and exciting activities to enhance their learning and to help achieve their personal milestones. My boys have been in attendance now for the last 2 and a half years and there is not one occasion where I could find any fault in their system! The educators at the center have done wonders for our boys and have supported and guided our family through all the little milestones and uncertain times which every new parent faces! If you are a new parent looking for a center to support and grow with you're family then I can assure you by choosing Milestones Early Learning South Townsville you will not be disappointed they have truly made the greatest impact on my little boys and I look forward to the many more years that our family get to be apart of the center.

We are in our last year at milestones and have loved being there the last 5 years with our other child aswell. The nature, care and love provided by staff is beyond expectations.
The cultural inclusion amazes me and we are constantly recommending miss julie and her team to anyone who will listen! 5 stars!
A big thank you to the Hurst family for this lovely review. We are going to miss seeing you every day when the little man goes off to big school next year.

We’ve been at Milestones South Townsville for nearly 6 months and have loved every minute. From the minute we enquired about a tour and enrolment I have been so impressed. All the staff are fantastic, they’ve been welcoming to our family from the very beginning. The outdoor play area is amazing, we love the natural environment and water play area. My son loves going to “school”. We are so happy we moved to Milestones South Townsville.

My 3 year old son recently started at Milestones after moving from another centre, this was closely followed by my daughter starting at 6 months old. I could not be happier with the centre. Both of my children have settled well and there is a real sense of community within the centre. The educators go above and beyond. The centre has also recently been renovated and the outdoor area is a kids dream
