We’re very happy with this childcare! The staff are warm, professional, and truly care about the kids. The centre is always clean and well-organized. My child loves going every day and always comes home smiling. Highly recommended!

Honestly horrible. I have had multiple issues with double sometimes trippe the ammount of fees being deducted from my account. Also my child has not been attending that school for a few months now and still randomly get money deducted from my account. Have called up about it and not much help and this shouldn't be happening in the first place and is still continuing with the random deductions.

I have had to withdraw my two young daughters from this centre immediately after nearly two years due to changes introduced by new management. I have been facing medical and transport challenges, and my 17-year-old sister (turning 18 in July) has been assisting with school pickups. She attends a high school just a few streets away and has been reliably picking up my daughters along with our younger brother since October 2024.
Following the management change, I was informed that this arrangement could no longer continue due to safety policies. While I understand the importance of ensuring all children’s safety, this sudden decision has placed me in an incredibly difficult position. As a now full-time mum, I am currently in the process of packing up my home to move interstate, seeking to protect my children from family and domestic violence.
My three-year-old daughter is devastated, struggling to understand why she can no longer see her friends, and my youngest, who is almost 12 months old, is now missing out on early education and socialisation. This situation has caused immense emotional and practical stress, and I am heartbroken for my girls, who are now facing increased isolation and, albeit unlikely, the potential risk of exposure to harm.
That being said, I want to acknowledge the individual educators who are truly dedicated and passionate about early childhood education.
However, there are also staff members who clearly see this as just a job, lacking the same level of care and commitment. My youngest whom has a dairy allergy was exposed to cream cheese at breakfast. After is being clearly labelled and advised on EVERYTHING - casual educators or careless educators didn’t realise. They also didn’t give my 8 month old at the time a bottle all day once. This centre has extremely high turnover both within management and educators.
My two stars are equivalent to 1 star for cost, because you get what you pay for and second star for those individuals who actually care and what to make a difference in children’s lives.
Management can apologise as much as they want for now allowing my sister to pick up my kids and assist me in my medical and transportation issues due to the safety of other children but the implication that my sister is a possible threat? To other children? Just because she’s 17 outweighs all apologies. Especially in our situation.

We have been sending our now toddler to Milestones for almost a year now and our biggest take away is how much he loves going to the center! He settled very quickly when we introduced him into the centre and now cannot wait to get there every day. The staff are friendly and efficient . They keep us updated regularly throughout the day and let us know how he went when we pick him up. They are also very on top of sickness and I find this center to be quite strict when it comes to any child showing any signs of illness , which is great as it’s reduced his number of days off compared to his previous centre and he doesn’t come home with nasty bugs as often. He is always clean and well presented when we pick him up and very excited to tell us all about his day . The centre has earned my trust and I will be sending my daughter there in the next month to join the Milestones family!
I think the only room for improvement would be the technical issues that sometimes come up . The app can be a bit difficult to manage sometimes and there is also the reoccurring issue for parents signing in and out on iPads ( however the staff have always correctly signed in and out our son when this happens so it’s not really effecting us!) .
Overall the important thing is our son is happy, well cared for and is progressing in social and educational areas so we are more than happy!

My son used to attend that childcare if I can call a childcare because it was torture place. A kid used bite my son everyday and the educators never tell me nothing. He was 12 months when all this happens. Please do no enroll your kids in this childcare.

Overall I was very disappointed in this service, I took my daughter out after 6 months due to the high turn over with full time staff and using employment agencies for casual staff. I would never know who was minding my daughter and she struggled a lot with the constant change.
I’ve looked into this centre to enrol my children. I wouldn’t send my dog here, under educated staff, ratios not met to standard, inadequate supervision of children and just plain rude!

This place has gone massively downhill since it was taken over by First Steps Learning Academy. Where do I begin with the long list of grievances I have with this place?
One of my children has been hurt here multiple times in the same way - one time requiring stitches. After the sixth incident, I was told over the phone that the educator was “too scared” to call me to discuss the issue, so someone else had to call - safety, communication, supervision, knowledge of my child… fail.
In the second round of lockdowns, I was asked to provide proof of financial hardship when I asked if the governments gap fee waiver was going to be applied - profit before community safety. We were being told to stay at home. Fail.
Upon returning to the service, I asked for my access pin to be sent to me so I could enter without needing to bang on the front door (There’s a doorbell, but it doesn’t ring in any of the rooms.) It took two weeks to get sent the number. In the meantime, some of the “friendly” staff frustratedly informed me that I could just request it from management and it would be sent to me. Thanks - communication, customer service… fail.
I organised a couple of casual days well in advance using their child care management software. Apparently it was all good one day, but not the second day. I found out that I had caused massive issues when they sent me an email reprimanding me for dropping my children off when they hadn’t confirmed days. Part of managing ratios at this service requires parents to be mind readers - I have been rudely directed to contact them next time… customer service, safety, communication… fail!
Four week notice period to make changes to bookings. FOUR WEEKS. Four weeks that I can’t send my kids to a service that actually cares about the “service” they are supposed to provide, because this provider needs to grasp every last penny from the parents it lets down on a daily basis. I tried to negotiate my way around this, and every solution I came up with resulted in me paying full fees for a service they don’t provide. Profits before service.
And the list goes on. The fees are cheap by comparison to everywhere else, but if you’re hoping for a stress free child minding experience… consider somewhere else.
If I could leave a 0 star I would! This centre left my daughter in the same nappy for almost 7 hours this week. All I received was a ‘sorry!’. On this same day the educators didnt even check her bag for her drink bottle instead they gave her a communal bottle in the middle of a global pandemic! I’ve never experienced such neglect, I would never recommend this company to any family and friends! Absolutely disgusting!
It’s now been 7 working days and I have requested an incident report on multiple occasions via phoning head office, emailing the admin team and the area manager and nobody has gotten back to me! This is beyond frustrating
