We had an absolutely fantastic experience with DJ Ron from Mike Staff Productions and could not recommend him more highly! From the planning process through the last song of the night, Ron was professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding celebration exactly what we hoped it would be. Communication leading up to the wedding was excellent. Ron made the process easy, listened to our preferences, and helped us feel confident that the music and flow of the reception were in great hands. His balance of professionalism and fun energy carried through every part of the evening, and the quality of service we received was outstanding. Ron was also an incredible emcee. Jenny, our photographer, was amazing from the get go. She was so fun and energetic! She was constantly making us laugh and smile which helped tremendously with wedding nerves and getting ready! I will always appreciate her helping me get settled and fluffing my dress for pictures, making sure it laid just right. Overall, she was absolutely AMAZING and I’m so glad she could be a part of our special day.

My husband and I love Mike Staff Productions. We had Brad as our DJ. He and the whole entire staff made the experience so special and effortlessly memorable. The DJ process was also very simple and not complicated. I will say, if you have a vision of how you want your wedding, you will get it! My side of the family is Mexican, and I told Brad how I wanted it. He made it possible! Not only that, but he helped create the perfect timeline. They know exactly what there doing, so trust the process, especially if you don’t know anything about weddings.

We used Mike Staff for both our DJ and photographer. Our DJ Tommy was amazing! He followed exactly what kind of vibe we were looking for for our ceremony, dinner/cocktail hour, and reception. We received so many compliments after the fact stating how we had such good music to dance to. Our photographer, Ashley, was also amazing!!! So nice and easy to talk to, which helps when you're having professional picture taken of you. She was so much fun to be around! Overall, Mike Staff's services are awesome, and my husband and I are so pleased with how our day went because of Tommy and Ashley!

We had Randy from Mike Staff Productions DJ our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! We had what could have been a complicated multi-area outdoor setup, but Randy never saw a challenge with any of it. I knew when I first spoke to him that he was the man for the job.
Knowing a little about production and sound, I knew we needed an experienced DJ with somewhat lots of equipment. Knowing Mike Staff Productions was the largest in Metro Detroit, I started here. We met on Zoom, and Randy loved the concept of our plan, made appropriate suggestions without pushing them on us.
The proposal we received was the best and most thorough proposal I’ve ever seen (and I have held roles in Sales and Marketing). It was detailed, and client driven. The pricing was a lot less than we expected, so it was an easy decision, though it’s only fair to say we would’ve paid 3x as much for the service we received and wouldn’t have thought twice about it.
Randy did a site visit a few weeks before and confirmed we would be good to go. In the year plus since we booked and the fact we had to create the area, things had changed since our original conversation.
I even added a live singer and guitarist to the mix for a couple of songs for the processional and recessional - and, of course, it was no problem. Even with the switching back and forth from tracks to live to tracks.
Randy executed with perfection, kept the right music for the crowd, and continued to go in the pouring rain until we made him stop once we saw lightning close by.
We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Randy and Mike Staff Productions to anyone planning an event. There’s no doubt you’ll be more than satisfied with the execution and results.

One of the best decisions my husband and I made was booking with Mike Staff for our wedding DJ and videography services. The pricing was very reasonable and booking process was very easy. Our DJ we chose was DJ Ron and we are SO happy we went with him! He was the absolute best DJ!! We had a call with him the Monday before our wedding to talk about the vibe of music, what we wanted to hear and didn’t want to hear & discussed the order of events. He made us feel so excited for our big day during the phone call. On our wedding day he was great about keeping things on track, pronounced everyone’s names perfectly and most importantly kept the dance floor packed all night which was the goal for my husband and I! There was truly not one song that made anyone want to leave the dance floor. We have received so many compliments on the music and DJ Ron! We also had a phone call with Sylvester the Monday before our wedding and he reassured us that all the special moments would be captured and he went to all of our photo locations with us to capture all the special moments! He kept the good vibes going throughout the whole day into the reception and captured the packed dance floor! We are so excited to see the video from our wedding day!
