Highly suggest taking the Countryside tour if you can! Ask for Simon, you'd be lucky to get him as your guide. He's fantastic, knowledgeable, and led us on a wonderful 1/2 day of biking.

From the moment we met our guide Rafael Pessoa, we knew we were in for an entertaining ride. With his experienced guidance and charming personality, he took us on an Amsterdam Countryside Bike Tour like no other. The beautiful scenery, lush green fields and quaint villages left us in awe. It was an excellent experience to explore the city's outskirts, away from the bustling crowds. Rafael shared fascinating stories and interesting facts about the history and culture of the Netherlands, keeping us captivated. We stopped to admire windmills, taste cheese and see a working clog factory. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing and physical activity. Our whole family enjoyed the tour and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam. This was, by far, one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Rafael and Mike's Countryside Bike Tour!

I stopped in Amsterdam for a quick visit before heading to Belgium that afternoon. I was looking for any quick morning tours I could do and I came across Mike’s bike tours. What an awesome experience! Saw and learned so much about the city in only 3 hrs. I didn’t realize how historic Amsterdam is and I was able to get a taste of the culture. Tour guide Vicky was a 5 star tour guide! She knew a ton about the history of Amsterdam and answered all of our questions. When I return to Amsterdam, I will be sure to bring others on the tour with me! Thanks for the experience!

We did the E-Bike countryside tour. Tour guide was fantastic, good information and the right amount of stops for the trip. Bikes were awesome and made it so easy to do the full course. 10/10 will recommend to friends in the future!

We were fortunate to have an absolutely perfect day for our morning ride, which took us to all corners of the city with several stops for more details about important landmarks. Our guide Shakira made the experience fun and informative, and I would happily recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore Amsterdam!

Very disappointed. When I booked the countryside bike tour for my 12-year-old daughter and me through a third-party website, we had the option to select which type of bike we wanted at checkout, an e-bike or a regular bike. It was advertised that we could choose an ebike if we wanted a little extra help with peddling, and not knowing if we would be going up and down hills or not, we thought it would be a good idea to choose an e-bike. It stated that to ride an e- bike you needed to be at least 12 years old and at least 5’”. At the time of booking, my daughter was just under 5 feet tall - and growing, although she is still very small looking. There was absolutely no indication when selecting our bikes that these would be two completely different tours. It was pjrases as an ADD-ON for an additional fee (see image below). A reasonable, prudent person would look at the booking site available to us and think that it is the same tour - you just could choose the type of bike you wanted. (Had it been clear that these would be two separate tours, we would of course chosen regular bikes since there would be no opportunity to switch bike types if it was determined, they would not be a good fit for us.) Anyway, when we arrived, and while I was in the bathroom, Ashton approached my daughter and his first words were to her: “You look too small. How old are you? Where is your mom so I can see if you are telling the truth because you don’t look it.” She said he used a very rude tone. When I came out of the bathroom, I confirmed that she was 12, and he said that he was worried she would not be able to ride along distance, would fall down or slow down and hold the rest of the group up, and encouraged us to not come. I agreed that the ebike did look larger than we expected. He informed us that this was only an bike tour and there was no option for riding a regular bike because that was a totally separate tour. Unfortunately, we were going to another country that evening, and he could not get us on another tour that day. He offered one for the next day, but again, we were only in Amsterdam for that one day. All of this was still OK until I asked for the refund and he said that likely we would not get one and that he would have to “ask the owner, “ which sounded a bit fishy. After we left, I sent an email to the company, assuming it would go to the owner. However, Ashton was the one who replied and said that as he told me there would be no refunds because he offered us a tour the next day which I declined. It appears that either he never asked the owner or that he is the owner himself and lied. So, in a nutshell, the trip registration process is unclear (as it appears, you are only selecting the type of bike, you want to ride, not categorized into different tours), Ashton is rude, and the company/Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam simply does not simply do the right, “human” thing when THEIR registration is unclear. Being kind, doing what is right, and being able take responsibility for the part the company may have played in the misunderstanding goes a long way. With that in mind, I recommend you avoid this company.

I thoroughly enjoyed this bicycle tour in the countryside of Amsterdam. Rinse was our tour guide and did an excellent job of pacing and narrating the different areas. The tour included an enjoyable stop at Clogs and Cheese. It was a rainy day and Mike's Tours provided rain ponchos to any who needed them. The electric bicycles were well maintained, and we had no issues with them.

Fantastic experience! Our tour guide was Mike - he did a really nice job of sharing interesting history with the group, and making sure everyone was comfortable. The bikes were easy to use, and the e-bike makes it such a great experience. The tour takes you past one beautiful old windmill, through a few quaint Dutch towns, and to the Clogs and Cheese farm (the show is nothing to write home about, but still a fun stop). It was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam and we highly recommend!

This tour was amazing!!!! Simon was an outstanding tour guide. He took such good care of all tour members. We saw beautiful fields of wildflowers, quaint villages, and water front towns. The cheese and clog shop was the perfect stopping point along the ride. The E bikes were a big hit with all family members. We highly recommend this tour!!

So glad we picked this countryside e-bike tour for our last day in Amsterdam. We are ending our trip on a high note because of it. Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) was nervous about riding bikes in Amsterdam, but the tour is set up to accommodate all levels and this country tour gives you time to figure them out. Plus our tour guide was phenomenal. Gus was very knowledgeable, a great story teller and also patient with us newer riders. We had gorgeous weather to begin and then a big downpour. Even in the rain on the way back we had fun. Definitely an experience you won’t want to miss!

North from Amsterdam was a great experience. Rinse was a bit rigid. We were late for the tour and he was not at all proactive sharing information where we can catch up with the team. Would have been an easy solution if he shared the first stop so we can join. We found the team anyways but felt like lack of hospitality from his side

We are asking our guests to be at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance, your party was there 20 minutes later after the actual start of the tour. You were lucky that you could still join the tour while your fellow travellers waited already for 20 minutes. So not a case of lack of hospitality, you should be happy that you could still join. Oh and so childish to change your review from. A 3 star to a 1 star.
