I can honestly say this has been one of the best accommodations I’ve chosen in Preston so far. The place is spacious, well-maintained, and in a prime location which makes everything so convenient. I only stayed here for a few days, and unfortunately had to move out due to some unexpected reasons, but I truly loved the house during my stay.
A special mention to Stacey, the property manager ,she is such a joyful person and always there whenever you need help with anything. Her support really made the stay even more comfortable. David, the landlord, is also one of the sweetest people I’ve seen,he responds to messages so quickly and is always kind and understanding.
Overall, it’s a really nice place to stay, and if I ever get the chance, I would definitely go back!

Hi Ben, disappointed to see your 1* review from the time you spent at the Jazz Bar from September 2023 through to August 2024.
We appreciate that there was a repair to your toilet in September 2023 that you reported, and the issue when the boiler broke, in June 2024, that affected the whole building, the commercial boiler being replaced as promptly as possible.

Moved in with my partner when he was a student and decided to renew another 2 years after, very affordable and very accommodating, if you have any issues you can email and they get sorted very quickly too! Property manager Stacey is amazing! Very friendly and helpful and amazing at ensuring things get sorted as well as keeping the buildings clean!

We appreciate you taking the time to post a review, which is obviously a reflection of having £50 deducted from your £100 deposit, however, we feel it was a token gesture deduction towards the total cost of bagging up the belongings you left, removing the several bin bags that you had bagged and left in the property, including a pair of crutches, which we have returned to Derriford Hospital, in addition to the extensive cleaning that was required to put the room back to how it was when you moved in, in September 2022.
Given that you initially moved into the accommodation for the academic year 2022/2023 and chose to renew your tenancy for the 2023/2024 academic year, whilst recommending a friend to the accommodation too, we think goes some way to showing that you did actually have a very good experience at the Mutley Tavern.

Lovely accommodation! Me and my partner stayed here for two beautiful years. A strategic location for anyone who needs transport links and also near to shops and town. The admin, finance, maintenance, basically everyone in the management are kind, understanding, and accommodating. If you are looking for a nice flat, don’t hesitate to contact them😃

Very pleasant room with everything you could need to live comfortably as a student, amazing location for the university and the city Center. Management and maintenance were always very responsive with any issue/queries I had and were lovely people. Would highly recommend this as a student accommodation

Lived here during the '21 to '22 academic year with my partner. It was a great little flat and having onsite amenities (laundry room) was a real bonus. The few maintenance issues we had were always seen to and fixed that day by José the property manager. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our time there.

I've been living in The Guild Tavern since September 2022. It's a fantastic accommodation to stay in, the studio I live in is roomy and has all I need. The location is fantastic; right in the middle of Preston and only a 10 minute walk to the university, plenty of things to do at both day and night right around the area. The staff are friendly and were incredibly helpful through the process of moving in. Definitley would recommend to new students and current students looking for a new place alike!
