I was a first time patient and I won’t be going anywhere else other than Metropolis Dermatology! The check in process was super quick and easy, Dr. Higgins is amazing…transparent, informative, friendly…everything you want in a physician, they give you parking recommendations and pricing, the whole experience was great. 100/10 recommendation 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Not to be dramatic but Dr Shauna Higgins is the best dermatologist in all of LA, hands down. Expertise, bed side manner, willingness to answer questions - finding a doctor with all of these attributes is not easy and she literally is a 10/10 in every category. I would follow her to any practice!
Julia Berman (PA) was one of the kindest clinicians I have met. She was joyful and had a positive attitude, kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and helped me with a small procedure the same day of my consultation which I really needed as I have a vacation coming up, and wanted my skin issue resolved. In addition, insanely clean office, and friendly office staff! Thank you all at Metropolis Dermatology as well for getting me in here so quickly, I could not be more grateful.
Dr Shauna Higgins is thee best. She is amazing at keeping track of your healing progress and making sure you are comfortable and well informed every single visit. I am truly grateful for Dr Higgins taking her time with me and for the re assurance that my condition will get better over time.

Dr Higgins is the only dermatologist who’s truly transformed my skin. She has incredible bedside manner and extremely effective at creating a well rounded and approachable treatment plan. The whole staff is really lovely and helpful at answering any questions and quick to send refills. Never thought I’d find a dermatologist I look forward to seeing, but I do!
I’ve seen Julia Berman for Botox and Dysport. She’s great! Not only is she funny and approachable, but she also makes it easy to explain what you want even if you don’t have the technical/medical knowledge. She was able to adjust amounts and locations of injection sites while explaining her reasoning so that I was confident in the procedure. Totally recommend her if you’re worried about injections and need someone who is able to explain the process or experienced with injections and want someone who knows their stuff!
Dr. Julia Berman is the best dermatologist I’ve ever had! I’m so comfortable in our relationship and feel like I can always speak so candidly. She’s also helped me understand why past treatments I’ve tried didn’t work— I feel so much more confident in my skin and much better informed!! I’ve gotten help with acne/skin picking, uncomfortable bumps and cysts, and extensive eczema. Would highly recommend :)
Dr. Wang and all the staff are rad!!! Super welcoming, always take care of you and respond immediately. They always have options for and what they think is best. I was always scared to go to the dermatologist but this team is rad. The offices are always cool too.

I’m a regular and very happy patient of Dr. Wang’s for about 5 years now and visiting is always a great experience. The office is very clean and also very well organized so i never have to wait long to be seen (i think the longest wait was 10 minutes once). Everything is handled with the utmost professionalism and i’ve been (still am) steadily happy with the results of my treatments.
I want to especially highlight his amazing team: every single time from the moment you walk in it’s a positive and welcoming vibe - every single person working there is always super friendly, very professional and helpful. Plus it feels & is very much genuine! The same goes for all of my interactions with the team via phone or the patient platform. They really are the best!

I have finally found my cosmetic dermatology office and provider! I had some facial botox done by Julia, and I have nothing but good things to say. I've gotten botox done before elsewhere, and I always have gotten light headed and clammy from face needles, but I had no negative reaction with Julia at all. Also, unlike other providers, Julia recommended a realistic and conservative number of units to ensure a natural look. My girlfriend who was somewhat on the fence about me getting botox since she didn't want stiffness in my face was pleasantly surprised by how natural the result is! I will definitely be back when necessary!

Had a great experience here. From the moment you walk in everybody is very helpful. My treatment was with Shauna Higgins who I cannot recommend nearly enough. She explained everything step by step and kept asking if I was feeling ok or had any questions.

Dr. Shauna Higgins made my first dermatologist appointment experience super welcoming and I learned a lot about why my skin was breaking out. She also made me feel at ease about my thinning hair. She’s professional but also makes you feel like you’re speaking with a big sister that has your best interest in heart! 10/10.
The location is easy to find and park which is great for DTLA. The office is clean, modern and the staff is amazing. Dr Shauna Higgins is absolutely 10/10. She’s knowledgable, kind, funny and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! She’s helped me a lot with my hormonal acne that was becoming an insecurity as it was newer and felt like it was so constant. Because of her, it’s clearing up, my skin tone is evening out and I’m shining bright like a diamond. Thank you Dr. Higgins!!!!!!
