My husband and i got married on 29th December 2025 at the Nutfield Priory Hotel. Michael Brunker was our toastmaster and we couldnt have asked for a more perfect gentlemant to over see our wedding. Our whole day was perfect and was made even more so by Micheals efficiancy and personality. He made us both feel very special, ensured that everyone was in the place they should be at the right times and added to the sense of occasion. He helped create some amazing memories of a perfect day. Many of our Guests praised him and friends are still talking about him. I cannot recommend him highly enough! I had the pleasure of working alongside Michael at a recent wedding, and I have to say, he were absolutely fantastic! As a wedding photographer, I've worked with a lot of Toastmasters over the years, and it's clear that michael stands out for all the right reasons. From the moment the day began, michael brought a level of professionalism and calm energy that really helped set the tone for the entire event. He communicated clearly with the couple, the other vendors, and the guests, ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly. What I particularly appreciated was how well he coordinated the timings—everything from speeches to the first dance was perfectly timed. This made my job so much easier, as I was able to capture key moments. He had ability to handle the room with both grace and humor also ensured that guests were engaged and having fun, without feeling rushed. Overall, I really enjoyed working alongside Michael. He brought an extra layer of professionalism to the day, making it easy to focus on capturing great shots while knowing the event was in good hands. I highly recommend him to any couple looking for someone who can bring both structure and fun to their wedding day!

We hired Toastmaster Michael Brunker for our wedding. What an amazingly professional gentleman. He took all the pressures of herding people around the venue so that everyone was in the right place at the right time, made announcements with a clear voice and liaised between us, the guests and the hotel so we had a single point of contact. If you don’t think you need a toastmaster think again as Michael was able to balance strictness with humour faultlessly and keep the wedding on track throughout the day. Would we hire him again? Absolutely.

Michael and I worked on the same wedding together recently. Firstly, I always love it when there's a toastmaster as I feel nicely looked after. Secondly, I thought Michael had the perfect aura for a toastmaster. He looks the part, and was excellent at keeping the guests entertained as well as wherever they were supposed to be. I would like to thank Micheal so much for helping me with speech for my daughters wedding. As father of the bride and not used to public speaking Micheal created a very easy to follow format that I was able to follow. The speech went done well and my daughter is still talking to me. Michael was incredible throughout, from the initial meet to the booking process and guiding us with our plan for the day. On the day itself Michael was very friendly and personable guiding people onto the next stage and using a firm voice to get people ‘in line’ which was much needed for our large group, coupled with a witty humour was the perfect combination. He announced the group entry, couple entry (which felt very special), live songs, speeches and applause, cake cutting and first dance, and couples joining us on the dance floor. Everyone said how they thought he came with the venue as it looked like he belonged there and loved the suit! Honestly it made our day much more special than trying to convince people to move in certain ways and we could not have found a better toastmaster. Both were incredibly professional, welcoming and supportive in managing the crowd, ensuring proper introductions were made to our VIP Guests, presidential team and board. Toastmaster and auctioneeer Michael was toastmaster and auctioneer for the charity fundraising auction at the exhibition I curated, he did an excellent job, highly recommend him: a professional presenter who can deal with the full range of situations, with humor and tact and style. He learned in advance about the artworks, the charity's work, and the people expected-- came prepared and ready to add sparkle! Made a real difference.

Michael took on what I would consider arguably the hardest toastmaster job of all last month, when he was the Master of Ceremonies for the annual National Association of Toastmaster's Christmas lunch. As a fellow Toastmaster , this is not a gig I would openly want to do, but to Michael's credit he put his name forward and was given the opportunity. Standing up in front of over 100 critics is not my idea of fun and I have the utmost respect for Michael for not only doing it, but doing it VERY well. Not only was Michael organised, but he was clear and concise and should be proud of his day's work. I know the President and the Association were very impressed with him and I congratulate him for having the courage to take it on and do it so well.
