Had a challenging and gorgeous ride from Igor’s shop to the salt pans via Qala. Gozo is green, full of stone walls and cliffs. Would recommend you be in good shape as a few very steep hills that we had to push the heavy e-bikes up! Also good to download a map of the route in case you lose cell service. A great way to see the island.
Wir haben 6 Fahrräder gemietet. Manche der Räder hatten kleine Macken aber trotzdem haben sie ihren Job erfüllt und wir hatten viel Spaß mit den Rädern. Außerdem hatten wir einen Platten und der Eigentümer kam sofort vorbei, um uns ein neues Fahrrad vorbei zu bringen. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Brilliant! Well priced and bikes were high power so it was easy to travel all across Gozo. Owner is super friendly. When booking call/text the phone number online as there is no shop front!
Das Fahrrad war in einem sehr guten Zustand und der Inhaber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zusätzlich zum verleih, gab es noch Tour Vorschläge auf Komoot gratis dazu. Ich selbst bin die 55 km Tour gefahren und war absolut begeistert und habe nicht damit gerechnet, dass Gozo so abwechslungsreich ist.

The bikes were really great condition, very powerful and easy to use. A great way to explore the island. The owner sent us a maps ahead of time so we were able to plan out our day and he was extremely quick with communication. Really recommend on your visit to Gozo!

Aber beide Fahrräder in keinem verkehrssicheren Zustand: Bremsen packten nicht zuverlässig (gerade bei einigen Abfahren lebensgefährlich), meine Kette sprang ein paarmal ab (entsprechend sah ich aus), beide Räder zogen permanent nach rechts, mein Akku hatte immer wieder Aussetzer, Vorderlicht defekt (dafür Batterielampe montiert), Display bei einem Rad zersplittert, zudem die Lager defekt, Man merkt, dass die Räder nie eine fachgerechte Inspektion bekommen. Hinterher auch so offen kommuniziert. Bot darauf hin Nachlass an und dass die Räder hätten jederzeit getauscht werden können... Hilft nicht, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs sein möchte und die anderen Räder ähnlich aussehen. Würde dort nicht nochmal mieten.

I regret that the day didn’t come together the way you expected, and I’m glad to hear the route itself was enjoyable.
We already went through everything privately, but I’ll restate the main points here for clarity.
Both bikes were fully functional at pickup, and as with every rental, they were tested before heading out. If anything feels off later in the day, I’m always available for on-the-spot replacements. That option is open at any moment during the ride.
Regarding the front light: the built-in unit wasn’t working, which is why I had fitted an external battery lamp. This setup is road-legal and is what I provide until the main unit is replaced. I also offer high-visibility vests for anyone riding after dark.
About the steering: these bikes have height-adjustable handlebars, and when readjusted they can shift slightly off-center. It’s a quick fix, but I can only correct it when I’m contacted.
When it comes to the display, one of them had cosmetic damage to the screen, but it was fully functional. When a display still works properly, I keep it in service until I replace the unit.
As for the brakes, they were gripping properly at pickup, and I tested them again afterward to be sure. If a brake starts to feel softer during a long route, that’s something I can adjust quickly.
I offered you a refund afterward as a gesture of goodwill, even though both bikes were used for most of the day.
I’m always working to improve the fleet, and feedback is much appreciated.

Hi Grzegorz, thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you weren’t fully satisfied. Each bike is checked before it goes out, but sometimes issues can appear during use. In those cases, I’m always available to provide assistance or even swap the bike if needed.

We really enjoyed the e-bikes.
They were very good and the service was fantastic.
We had to call the guy and waited for 5 minutes in front of the garage. Also returning the bikes was very easy.
We can really recommend.
I dropped in day of with no reservation as a last minute decision and going with the reviews - everything thats said is true. Rental was fast and uncomplicated. Bike was perfect for Gozo. Igor is very patient and helpful with everything. I was able to see so much of the island at my own pace and find some nice spots. This was hands down the highlight of my trip and I’m so happy I came here! One note - I would highly recco making a reservation as there is no physical storefront and is a garage/storage space with the bikes. I was lucky as he happened to already be there as other people (who likely made reservations) were renting bikes from him.
Spontane Vermietung war problemlos möglich (einfacher Abhol- und Rückgabeprozess). Abholung der Fahrräder in einer Garage. Fahrräder in sehr gutem Zustand. Die dicken Reifen helfen auf den hügligen Straßen. Akku hatten eine gute Reichweite (circa 80 km) und stärke Unterstützung beim Fahren. Kontakt sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen 😊
