So, we picked up our boy Teddy about 4 weeks ago. He is beyond what we expected. I can’t emphasize enough the breeding line of this guy. He is very smart, loves attention and play time. Then is very content and will occupy himself when we give him his space. We love him so much that we wanted to get his sister but thought we missed getting her when we saw she was removed from the available kittens. Then we found out she became available again and didn’t hesitate to contact Dobrev’s to try and get her. We will be reuniting Tiffany with her brother Teddy tomorrow and have no doubts these two will be part of our family for a long…long time. I can’t say enough about Dobrev Maine Coons and their program. They know their breeding and more importantly how to make sure your well educated on your choice before you leave with your new family member. The health of these kittens is their first priority. They did not compromise on anything and put our kittens wellbeing ahead of everything else. I highly recommend this family and their line of cats.

We purchased a kitten in 2022 and he became ill in 2024. He was diagnosed with FIV and the only exposure he had to other cats or animals was as a kitten before we purchased him. FIV is contracted through contact with other infected cats. He was constantaly getting sick as a result of immunodeficiency and in October 2025 after consulting with our Veterinary Clinic and based on his failing condition we made the hard decision to have him euthanized. I made Dobrev Main Coons aware of this situation last Spring and did not get any response from the breeder.

FIP is treatable and not contagious. It often occurs due to stress or conflict with other pets at home. Many veterinarians, especially in WI, recommend treatments, and support groups are available to help pet owners. Ending a cat's life due to FIP is premature since effective treatments exist.

Amazing experience with Dobrev Maine Coons! Christina is quick to respond and was friendly the entire time. Pickup went great - special thanks to Jocelyn for the warm welcome as well as all the information passed along. It was very clear that the kitties they have are well loved and cared for. I was given her papers along with some food and toys to help transition into her forever home. I’ve never met such a well socialized kitten before! Even the vets were so surprised seeing how well socialized she is. She had no issues at the vet, happy to cuddle me the entire time, and is in good health. Highly recommend Dobrev! It was more than worth the 5 hour drive there to pick lovely Yohana up ❤️

Early Christmas present. We picked up Mars a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Communication was amazing. Any questions we had were quickly answered (including videos of the kittens we discussed). We were able to drive up on a Sunday to view the 2 kittens we were interested in (after paying a deposit) and play with the kittens a bit while we decided which one of the two we would bring home. They went over all of the information on Mars, gave great advise, and sent home some of his current foods & a bag of toys. Mars was 4.5 months old and just arrived from Ukraine 3 weeks prior. He did have a runny nose that we noticed on the ride home so we did a trip to the vet the next morning. Our vet was all to happy to meet Mars and was in love. A round of antibiotics to be safe (vet stated could just be stress related from the flight from ukraine to the brief stay at the cattery) and he was just fine. I was nervous about introducing a large 4.5 month old kitten to our 2 cats & 1 very large dog. But they were all instantly best friends (Mars was very friendly with introductions/great temperament). After just an hour they were laying together & cleaning each other. It took Mars less than a week to warm up to our 140lb dog. Mars was a great addition to our family.
