I highly recommend MedCare therapy in home services. I am currently under the care of physical therapist Stephan Joseph. He is professional and very patient. I feel some improvement in my overall ability. And all in the convenience of my own home.

Danny Bauman makes you feel secure and that you’re going to reach your maximum potential. His reflexes are so fast you know he’s going to be there to catch you if you start to fall. He’s aware if you are in pain or uncomfortable. When we travel we come back to him for a “tune-up”. He has a great sense of humor and it helps to take you mind off the exercises.
My OT & PT with Jen & Donna is excellent. They both go above and beyond what I have had in the past with other at home therapy. They have helped me continue week by week to improve my physical condition with their hard work and professional dedication…..

Their medical staff is as professional and friendly, and quite thorough. Stephen and Jennifer saw to all my mom's many PT/OT needs. My name is Beverly Ortiz and I have been receiving Physical Therapy from Nadine for weeks now. Unfortunately, this week will be my last visit with her. She has helped me so much with trying to improve my balance and helping me to get stronger. She would watch me do my stretch and strength exercises to make sure I was doing them right and would encourage me to do just a little bit more when I was tired. She was patient and we would laugh at something silly which brightened my day. I will miss her.

We have been utilizing Medicare therapy services for about nine months now. Call the therapist assigned here. I’ve been wonderful. Each comes with their own special set of skills and personalities. recently, a new physical therapist was assigned for my wife’s care. She is recovering from a fractured femur and is 78 years old. Angela, our current physical therapist is extraordinary. She is soft-spoken, yet firm. She has a very special set of skills which she implements in a very loving and gentle way while getting the job done. We have made more progress in the last month then we did in the previous six months. I am not exactly sure of the allotted time of a therapy session, but I will tell you that Angela never ever focuses on a Clock when she is here. We are blessed to have him as my wife’s therapist, and it is without reservation that I would recommend her for her skills, energy and empathy.
Bridget (Physical Therapist) has been such a blessing to my 91 yr old mother-in-law. We can’t imagine anyone exceeding the combination of skill sets she has brought in terms of knowledge, ability to assess specific physical issues, apply appropriate therapy measures and perfectly articulate all relevant aspects of the process to us. Aside from being an absolute perfect professional, Bridget also brings a truly kind and compassionate heart to her job. My mother-in-law has been gaining more strength and confidence each day, thanks to Bridget’s guidance and encouragement. Bridget has also taught me how to properly supervise my mother-in-law through her recommended exercises on a regular basis. My mother-in-law now has hope and optimism, which was missing before Bridget came into her life. We can’t overstate how much we appreciate Bridget and Medcare Therapy Services.
UPDATE May 28, 2025:
We’ve now had 2 physical therapists and 1 occupational therapist from Medcare Therapy Services to help my 92 yr old mother-in-law at home over the past year. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. Liz (OT) had been currently working with my mother-in-law and she’s been a perfect fit in every way. She’s extremely competent, reliable and professional. She also shows up with great enthusiasm, compassion and kindness every time. We still had Liz scheduled for some more visits, but were saddened to just be advised by Medicare (Mom’s insurer) that we can no longer use Medcare Therapy because Mom’s primary physician can only prescribe through Catholic Health contracted facilities at this point. Mom absolutely loves Liz and is very sad to lose her. We thank Liz and team from the bottom of our hearts for all they’ve done for us.
Medcare was recommended by PBMC Northwell for a hip injury; PBMC actually sent the script directly to Medcare. The PT they sent is positive and encouraging, and actually makes the exercises enjoyable.
I assist a 92 year lady, we have had Stephen Joseph, as her therapist. Many times, she would say she didn't want to do exercises. But, the moment He came in, he greeted her eith a smile. Her attitude changed and she did everything ,requested for her session. He would play low music, and conversed with her. Thank you, Stephen for doing not only your job, but being a wonderful human being. God Bless all the therapists.

My mom is elderly and Medcare sent an absolute ANGEL (Bridgette) for her PT. Mom was afraid of falling after her last hip replacement, and she wanted to give up on her walking until Bridgette came into her life. She did inpatient/outpatient PT in the past, but no one was more skilled, professional, caring, and gave her the confidence to walk. As her daughter and caregiver, Bridgette always made sure that I knew how to walk with her, safely after she left. Mom and I were so upset when her PT ended. Thank you so much!!!!!!!
Being older and unable to get out of the house because of serious pain from the surgery, I am forever grateful for MedCare Therapy Services because they sent highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapists to address the pain. The therapist was patient and compassionate as she encouraged increased movement, strength and flexibility in the affected area. I can walk again and resumed my position as a high school teacher. After several hospital vists and some reluctance from my mom to go forward with physical therapy, we are thrilled with the outcome using MedCare. Therapist Nicole Brock made mom feel comfortable from the first home visit and continued to create a relationship that made physical therapy a welcome break in the day. Nicole helped plan and push the proper exercises and strength routine to bring mom back to independence! We are sorry to see it end, but very thankful for the results.
