Mcuire is a must try when visiting Niagra Falls Canada! I had been wanting to try African cuisine for some time, being a pescatarian I had been unable to find a place that would accommodate. Well Rosemary and Donny made the visit so worth it! The Egosi with Shrimp was my favorite, I could not stop eating it…the spices were so good. We had the tasting dish which included the plaintain, Jollof rice, sweet bread (puff puff), fish and homemade ice cream which (Mango), I believe they change flavors of ice cream for the week. It is a lot of food so have your appetite ready!
You will leave there full, happy and feeling good!
Thanks Rosemary and Donny again for making our first time memorable, while celebrating my husband birthday. The decor was nice and cozy too!
I rarely post reviews, but this place truly deserves one. We booked our reservation two months in advance, and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were friendly, and the food was incredible — full of rich flavors and clearly made with care.
Every dish we tried was delicious, and was a standout. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again.
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. If you are truly Nigerian or Ghanaian, I strongly advise against ordering here.
From the start, the service was poor. The staff was unwelcoming over the phone, our call was disconnected, and when reconnected, we were told to wait 15 minutes just to place an order. Delivery was promised within 55 minutes but ended up taking nearly 1 hour 30 minutes.
Every single dish was disappointing.
• Ordered Semo but received Banku.
• The Suya and Jollof rice both had sugar, completely inauthentic.
• The Jollof and Fried rice were also overcooked.
• The Okra soup was bland and inedible.
• The Plantain was burnt and tasted of char.
• The Efo was inedible.
• The Zobo was watered down, lacking both flavor and color.
After waiting so long, we couldn’t eat the food and had to throw everything away. To make matters worse, they even took a photo of our order for their Google reviews which likely contributed to the delay.
This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had. If this were the last Nigerian/Ghanaian restaurant on earth, I still wouldn’t return.
Do not eat here.

Update:
Owner responded: “Thanks for your feedback. We’re a fusion restaurant, so not everyone may enjoy the concept and that’s okay. Thanks for giving us a try. We appreciate you.”
Instead of taking accountability, the owner chose to deflect. This was not an issue of “fusion.” It was poor service, incorrect items, excessive delays, and inauthentic food (sugar in suya and jollof, wrong substitutions, burnt plantain, etc.). Nothing about that reflects Nigerian or Ghanaian cuisine, fusion or otherwise. After waiting over an hour and a half, the food was inedible and had to be thrown away.

We take feedback seriously, but this review does not reflect the reality of your order. You received exactly what was placed, and no substitutions were made. Our jollof, suya, and other dishes are prepared fresh to traditional standards, and we do not add sugar or use shortcuts. While we understand not every guest may enjoy our flavors, we stand by the authenticity and quality of our food. We encourage others to try us and experience it for themselves. There is no accountability to take here, because we conducted ourselves with professionalism and respect from beginning to end. This is not a constructive review intended to provide genuine feedback for improvement, but rather a statement written with malicious intent. Furthermore, we are unable to see the charred plantain pictures you referenced, and the claim itself is false. We can stand confidently knowing we did the right thing. Original: Thanks for your feedback. We’re a fusion restaurant, so not everyone may enjoy the concept and that’s okay. Thanks for giving us a try. We appreciate you.
What a great hidden gem! Loved the food so much I want the flavors to linger in my mouth all day. Stopped in for lunch after a round of golf - shared rice bowl and stew with my wife. Absolutely delicious and paired well with hibiscus iced tea. Will make it a regular stop when in Niagara Falls!
