Today we had Jason from McMullens come and install an Air Conditioning Unit at our place here in Red Deer. He and his assistant did a fantastic Job. Dealing with Bill Lyon who was very friendly and easygoing I did not feel rushed or any pressure or sales tactics like we did from other company's listed online for our area. Jason and his assistant were polite respectful and cleaned up the mess from the drywall that was left over. The electrician that came even used covers and properly covered the holes. The install Job was not easy due to the basement being finished and the electrical on the opposite side of the mechanical room. They worked hard and got it finished in one day very impressive. I will be Recommending Mcmullens to any of my friends or family that is seeking any upgrades for their home.

Outdoor air conditioner wasn't working, went to the office spoke with Sarah and John as I am somewhat of a Dyi guy. John gave me some advice on how to troubleshoot my issues but I was unable to figure it out. I gave Sarah a call and asked if she could help us out, she sent Chase out a few hours later and within a half an hour he had it up and running at a very reasonable price. Great people, very knowledgeable, definitely will use again!!

Installed a boiler for my mom which failed after 18 months. They're looking for a payday rather than standing behind their work and product they recommended. In my opinion, save yourself the aggravation and steer clear. ***UPDATE*** It is believed that when McMullen's installed the new boiler, they did not flush the system leaving the corrosive liquid cycling through the new boiler, which resulted in it's severely shortened lifespan. It is my suggestion to be careful when using this company based on our experience.

I have now relied on McMullen's twice when I've been in a bind. The first time was when my AC went out during a heat wave right before a long weekend. McMullen's was the first to get back to me and responded right away. The technician was friendly, knowledge and fast. He was also very reasonable with the bill The second time was on New Years Eve when my furnace wouldn't start. I called multiple places and McMullens was the first to get back. They got me back up and running in no time and , again, were VERY reasonable. I will be going with McMullens again in the future!

Called on a Sunday afternoon, service tech was able to talk me through diagnosing the issue and doing the repairs myself. Very knowledgeable and courteous while being able to communicate how to safely proceed as a homeowner.

Had Chase out to our place to diagnose a heating problem we had after having a different company out that couldn’t resolve the problem, took him minutes to find problem get us parts & show us along the way what repairs he has completed, chase is very knowledgable & is the man for any of your heating / cooling needs! I had an issue with my Carrier HRV, and according to the Carrier manufacturer site, the local experts on that unit is McMullen's. Had a repair technician come out, and he diagnosed that both blower motors were shot (ohm'ed out according to the RO) and the control board also. They said it would likely be better to just replace the whole unit as the parts would be very expensive. I was to receive a quote for parts replacement and also replacement of the entire unit. 2 weeks go by and no quote, so I emailed them. Another week goes by with again no response so I call to speak to someone directly. Why is it so hard to get a quote? After another week I finally get some numbers ($1800) for parts cost plus additional cost for labor, but again the recommendation to replace the entire unit which would run from $3000-4000. I was suspect of the diagnosis from the start, as it's highly unlikely that could happen without a large power surge, so I decided to call in an second opinion as I was very unhappy with the customer service at this point. Thank goodness I did. Within 10 minutes he had figured out that the problem was the motorized damper. Both blower motors were perfectly fine and so was the control board. This from a technician who had never even worked on this HRV before, let alone an "expert". Replaced the damper for $260 and one hour labor and my unit is up and running just fine again. Bottom line, if these guys are calling for thousands of dollars in replacement costs, get a second opinion. I blew $183 on a completely false diagnosis.

When no one else would answer the phone, Mcmullens not only answered but showed up and fixed our furnace at 11 at night, it was put for no less than an hour because of these amazing people. the employee was knowledgeable quick and saved us a few dollars, 10/10 recommend for any of your furnace issues.
