Ruby has finished her Perfect Puppy Training and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our 6 month old puppy, Ruby, is listening well, walking on her leash, sits, turns, doesn’t beg for food, drops kids toys out of mouth… and that’s just the start of it. Deborah- her trainer has a special spirit and her connection to help us learn the tools was incredible. 10/10 and even more. Ethan and Deborah are both amazing and have the skill to turn puppies- perfect.

HUGE FAN of McMahon Dog Training and especially our assigned trainer, Deborah who is our own personal HERO. Through our 1:1 sessions, my sweet tripawd German Shepherd rescue and I have strengthened our bond even more just by implementing the training and tools that she has taught us. As a first time Tripawd owner, it was difficult for me to adjust to giving her commands and discipline but with Deborah's guidance we've been able to create a lot of structure in a compassionate and loving way. Ethan is an incredible dog trainer! When we started, our 3 year old golden retriever Phoenix was severely anxious—he wouldn’t leave his spot in the house and was terrified of everything. Sweet Phoenix had never even been on a walk or allowed outside so he was fearful of everything. Ethan not only helped Phoenix, but also taught me how to support and train him effectively. Ethan broke through every hurdle with a perfect mix of humor, patience, creativity, and real expertise. Thanks to his guidance, Phoenix is now more confident, moving freely around the house, and finally enjoying walks, and swimming in the ocean. Ethan is absolutely wonderful! He customizes training with what works best for your pup! We practiced sit, down, stay, place, crate, recall, heel, getting in the car, walking with a gentle leader and we got to work at my dog's pace. My pup Nemo absolutely adored him and has grown so much in the few weeks we have trained with Ethan. I get so many compliments on how well behaved my puppy is. Thank you so much!

Working with Ethan was seriously life changing! When we first rescued our dog Bodhi, we would dread having to take him walks because of how reactive he was and how much he would pull (and he’s very strong). After our very first session with Ethan we saw so much improvement, and now our dog is at a place where he can heel in crowded places and be calm around what were previously huge triggers for him. Walking our dog is now enjoyable as opposed to being something stressful just because we constantly had to be on the lookout to avoid walking past other dogs. Ethan taught us tools for dealing with all of our rescue dog’s quirks and now i don’t get nervous bringing him places with us because he’s like a whole different dog! We’re so thankful for Ethan for everything he’s done to help us learn to manage our dog’s reactivity so now we can give him the best life ever :)

Our sweet year-old cattle dog mix needed some training reminders after we rescued her. We loved Ethan’s approach to training and were amazed at how quickly and willingly our pup learned new skills and commands, and appreciated how active we were able to be in the training process. I hired a dog trainer for Blu, my three-year-old Chihuahua-Poodle mix, who has a penchant for barking at anything that moves. I realized new levels of chaos when we added Una, his sweet but equally barky understudy, to the mix. Walking them became a test of endurance and how much public embarrassment I could handle! Enter Ethan, the dog whisperer with a genuine knack for understanding both dogs and their often frazzled owners. I stumbled upon his Facebook ad like divine intervention. The magic words "free consult" and "will come to you" sealed the deal. Ethan's punctuality and flexibility made him an instant hit—not just with me, the phone number skeptic, but with Blu and Una, who eagerly awaited each session (probably because they could sense the treats coming). Ethan's strategy was simple but effective: accountability for the pet parent and, of course, some serious note-taking and homework. Who knew dog training involved so much human training too? Thanks to Ethan, my once barky duo transformed into calm, well-mannered pups who confidently handed out candies on Halloween without a peep—an achievement I once considered only possible in my wildest dreams. My dog is a 6 year old poodle terrier mix rescue. I've been able to train other dogs that I have had but this little girl was different. Although she was always at my side in the house she wouldn't come if I patted my leg or patted the sofa for her to come up. She also ran a few times not so much to get away but for a little adventure. Of course that made me nervous. I found out about Ethan on Next Door and contacted him. In the first lesson Latte was coming to me. The next four lessons we built on that and tonight she learned how to heel. Ethan is easy to work with as he shows you the technique and then you practice it as he helps you to fine tune it. I have been amazed at how easy it was to train my dog because he knew what she needed and how to train her. Not every dog is the same and Ethan is able to determine what will work best for you and your dog. I highly recommend you take the first step and take a lesson so you can have a happy pup and a happy relationship with them!

Ethan is an absolute miracle worker! Within the first lesson, our dog went from dragging my husband on walks (I could not walk him at all) to walking without dragging. By the second lesson, he not longer jumped on people. The change over the last few weeks was Honestly the best investment I have ever made. First time “too good to be true” was real.. I now have a polite dog I can walk alone and take to the dog park!

I had one main issue I wanted to work on with my dog and that was going crazy barking when anyone came in the house. She would bark continuously until they acknowledged her. I was skeptical Eathan could help since my dog is 11 years old. But he arrived on time and accepted the challenge. He was very positive and clear with his directions. Within a few minutes he had my dog following his commands. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised. I am very excited to work with my dog and family to reinforce what we learned and will gladly reach out to him with any future concerns.
