I brought two barrel chairs in that I wanted reupholstered. Jenn taught me how to understand the sturdiness of the fabric and helped me find the right fabric. They were ready for me when they had committed, and the chairs were done within the timeframe they had provided. We absolutely love the chairs. There was a little issue that I needed help with and Jenn and the general manager were exceptionally helpful. I highly recommend them and will use them for all of my upholstery needs.

Everything about my experience at McDowell’s Specialty was outstanding. From being greeted at my car by Bert (the owner) and discussing my project with Ronson & Meghan, I was so impressed. They listened to me, understood exactly what I wanted & spoke to their specific experts to get me an accurate estimate of time and materials. There is a gap at the top of both side windows. I spoke with the team at McDowells awhile back about this. Such great service and care about their workmanship and customers. Exceptional. I have a Suburban that I love and have had for 13 years. I needed to get the crack in the dashboard and a tear in the drivers seat fixed. Found McDowell’s through Google. They were so easy to contact via text, I got a quote via text and got scheduled. So easy!! They did a great job, however, a few months after, the dash was bubbling and a new crack was formed over the steering wheel. I didn’t contact them for another few months after that, making it a little over 7 months since the work had been completed. I brought it in and thought I was going get the run around, but the nicest guy took a look and was immediately, without question, going to take care of it. The dash looks better than ever and I’m so thankful to everyone there. Thank you guys so much!! I will always be a customer and recommend you! ***Just should add, after a few months from getting the repair done again, a bubble has popped up on my dash (added picture).

UPDATE: Another great experience with McDowells, I had a advertisement in the back window of my 56 that caused a huge blind spot. They removed the old tint and the blind spot that was in the window, restoring the visibility and making it much safer to drive. Tint is amazing and once again a happy customer!! Went in to get my driver's seat repaired on my 2005 gmc, while doing so they noticed that my seat heater was also malfunctioning. They said that they had a used one that they would try at a reduced cost. After a week I noticed that I was still having issues so I took it back. They got me right in and determined that the back rest heater was also bad, they order a brand new set and charged me nothing for replacing both. Absolutely amazing service after the sell and I would highly recommend them for repairs!! I only had them repair the outside edge of the bottom seat as that was where the damage was, if you look at the picture.

I had 12 blue chairs that didn't suit my home anymore. Instead of replacing them I sent them to McDowells to get reupholstered. They had a great selection of fabrics and leathers and helped me picked what would suit my home best. After deciding what to do, they kept me updated during the entire process. I am VERY happy with how they turned out. I highly recommend McDowells for any furniture work!
