After a great experience at Maximus Customs’ original location, I decided to check out their Queens spot for my next suit—and they did not disappoint. The space is clean, well-organized, and maintains the same professional atmosphere I’ve come to expect from Maximus.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They kept the fitting process efficient without rushing through the details, and made thoughtful suggestions based on my previous order. It’s clear that consistency and quality are priorities across locations.

Omg, I just left Maximus Custom Clothing for the second time, and once again, I’m blown away. I have a gala to host and texted Magdy a photo of the dress with my request & he responded right away with his usual short, clear communication that leaves no room for confusion. I dropped it off, told him my deadline, and three days later, I texted asking if I could pick it up. He simply replied, “What time will you be here?” I arrived, and even before the dress was finished, I could see he had done an incredible job.
This time, his son was there & he is just as kind and welcoming. Also, the space feels like a breath of fresh air, especially on a hot day. I was offered cold water, then a glass of bubbly in a disposable wine glass. On the table are beautifully arranged bowls of assorted nuts and gourmet chocolate. It feels luxurious & is the kind of thoughtful detail that makes waiting feel like relaxing. Magdy had me try the dress on, made final adjustments, and was done in exactly 20 minutes, as promised. He genuinely lights up when you’re happy with his work. It’s a true family business, and I’m so grateful to have found them.

Amazing service! Dropped off my suit pants at 10pm on a Saturday night, picked them up at 11am Sunday morning. Needed these pants hemmed ASAP and Maximus got it done. Check them out on 5th Ave or in Maspeth, Queens. Great experience.

When my buddy Jerry told me about Maximus Custom Clothing and the detail work they do when fitting for a suit I was some what skeptical. After purchasing 3 suits this is now my home for suits. I said to myself why shouldn't I be able to go where the stars go and look like a star.

This tailor is amazing! Family run business. I had called last minute with a suit that I needed alterations on in 24 hours. I phoned them at 10 PM, they scheduled me to come in at 8:30 am. They shortened the sleeves and hemmed the pants. Luckily was able to turn it around in an hour. Highly recommend!!! Really good prices, no price gouging.
If you go to the Maspeth location, they have two cute playful dogs as well ha.
