Mark, you have rented from us a few times and every time you disregarded our policies and the feedback that we gave you nicely. As a result we are no longer willing to rent you a car. Yes, we understand that this makes you mad - like any spoiled child having a tantrum because they cannot have their way. Your actions have consequences. You are old enough to know that. Now, if you were to ask nicely and promise to follow our policies to the letter, we might maybe willing to re-instated you.

We have been renting from Frank for several years now. Never had a problem. His service is incomparable. Easy pick up and drop off at the airport parking lot. The cars aren’t new, but you’ll look like a local and you’ll save a bundle. I wouldn’t even consider renting from the big guys.

This is a New Review update, as Google does not allow multiple reviews for the same business... November, 2025! Just returned from another trip to Maui, where we rented one of Frank's Fabulous, Friendly Cars. This one was a 2008? Fully loaded Lexus 350 SUV – great car for our needs, with all the bells and whistles! Frank's cars are older, but very well maintained. I've said it before, but we blend in so well driving an older "local looking" car than a brand new convertible Mustang or a Jeep. Folks just treat you better, flash their lights to let you make a turn in traffic... Also, I feel so much safer at the beach – we don't look like tourists, so we've got total peace of mind at leaving our car in the parking lot. Pick up and drop off at the airport couldn't be easier. Frank lets you know where the car is parked, you walk to it, pay to exit the parking lot and drive off to your destination (no waiting in line at a rental agency). Returning it is the same, get the parking ticket at the airport lot, park the car in the same area, lock up the key/parking ticket and head into the airport to catch your flight. So easy!!! Not sure when we'll return to Maui, but when we do I know we'll be reaching out to Frank to arrange for a car! (This is so much better than having to take a shuttle, wait in line and pay ridiculously high rates at a commercial rental agency). Frank, we feel lucky to know you and will most certainly contact you, for our next trip to Maui! –––––– (November 2022) This is our second time renting from Frank in the past couple years and we have had nothing but a positive experience both times!!! His cars are older, but well cared for and clean. For this rental, we had an early 2000, Lexus SUV – it was perfect, economical and you look like a local rather than a tourist driving a Jeep or convertible Mustang! Pickup, was super easy – the car was parked waiting for us in the airport parking lot. For the return, we met with Frank and he dropped us off at airport departures – it could not have been easier! We love Frank's Friendly Cars – We will definitely rent from him again!

We Scuba/shore dive , usually get a small wagon (Ford Focus or similar) and put a couple big Costco Bins in the back for gear. You can blend in , like a local, and Frank is a local character . But they always start , get to the beach/dive site and fit our budget

Frank will give you a good used car for less than half of what it will cost to rent a car from Hertz, Budget, dollar or any of the major car rental companies. There's no waiting in line he will have the car ready for you at the airport and makes it easy to drop off as well. Frank's Friendly Cars is a great find! We highly recommend renting from Frank.

We have rented 7 cars from Frank in the past four years and have always been satisfied, First, picture this: Most times you get your baggage and the car is there---no wait!
