It took me a while to get to this review but I wanted to make sure I got it done because Matteo is an incredible photographer. Back on May 12th he did photography for mine and my fiancées engagement. He was helpful every step of the way. I personally am not very well traveled so I was a bit intimated by trying to find a photographer somewhere I had never been, especially before I was getting there but Matteo was very thorough in helping me set everything up. A lot of people back home asked us more about the photographer than our actual engagement which says a lot about his work. Thanks for everything you did for me.

Matteo was fantastic. He was really helpful in the planning phase offering suggestions of location, timings and photographic styles. He was extremely professional and the photos came out perfect. Incredible photographer with best skills in Lake Como. We did proposal in Villa del Balbianello and Matteo provided tips for best experience, especially if you want to get to certain spots early before too many tourists arrive. Very much recommend. 3hrs with boat ride is my recommendation.

Matteo was provided an unbelievable experience for our engagement photos. He is a true professional. He remained hidden until the big question, and sprang into action when I got onto one knee. He then took us on a full photoshoot across multiple locations, on foot and with his drone, and gave us an unforgettable experience. He then turned around hundreds of edited, touched up pictures in less than a week! You won’t regret it if you ever have the opportunity to work with Matteo! He’s the best.

We used Matteo as our wedding photographer at the venue Villa Fiordaliso. We cannot recommend him enough! Matteo arrived promptly and got straight into photographing, he knew all the best places to take pictures and made us both feel at ease. My husband and I are both quite shy but Matteo made us feel at ease straight away and gave us simple directions. We asked Matteo for a few "staged" pictures and the rest for candid shots of our day. Matteo was extremely pleasant and professional to deal with, excellent communication skills and was overall the perfect choice for our wedding!

Matteo was incredible to work with during my surprise Lake Como proposal and engagement shoot. He patiently guided me throughout the planning process and made me feel confident on one of the most important days of my life. When I reached out to him, I had no idea what kind of shoot I wanted as I had never been to Lake Como prior to this trip. He provided various recommendations (locations tailored to the vibe that I wanted, boat rental company, etc) and even helped me plan the itinerary based on my villa reservation time slot and boat rental. During the boat tour, he went out of his way to tell us the history of some of the most famous villas, which was an excellent touch. We received a preview of some of our photos the same day so that we could share the news with friends and family. I highly recommend Matteo for any photography needs.

We had the most picture perfect engagement and matteo was so so helpful and none of this would of been possible without him he knew all the best spots for photos and the quietest most beautiful spot for proposing and blended in like a natural tourist my girlfriend (now fiancée ) had no idea at all also he is super friendly and easy to talk to we felt no awkwardness at all it was like id known him my whole life super down to earth guy and couldn’t recommend him enough!! Matteo was an absolute saint and pleasure to work with. I utilized chat gpt to recommend photographers since we are from the US and I had no clue where to start. Chat gpt offered me 4 photographers but Matteo was the one who stuck out to me most. When I went to interview the photographers, most of them just gave me their prices and called it a day. Matteo didn’t start out with prices. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, offered recommendations for places to pop the question, and made it more personable than just a business transaction. When we were on site, Matteo did a fantastic job with blending in with the scenery. He gave my fiancé the perception of just some random person taking photos of the view. He knew the agenda and accomplished it. Once my fiancé understood what was happening and who Matteo was, he guided the rest of the photography as a trained and professional photographer should. He knew all the perfect locations within the villa that we were at, he guided us with placement and what to do throughout the whole time to ensure our photos came out perfect. If your planning a destination anything within Italy or surrounding countries and need a photographer, Matteo is your guy. Once we completed all the photos on the island, we went out on a boat with Matteo’s drone for him to get some video of our special moment as well. Matteo conquered my goals and went above and behind. 12/10 highly recommend.

My wife and I had the privilege of hiring Matteo to be our wedding photographer this October and honestly there was nobody who could have done a better job than him. We found Matteo through Instagram and reached out about his services. When we finally got to meet over video chat for an introduction, my wife and I knew he was the only right choice to be our wedding photographer.
