Horrible experience! Had a dryer that was throwing a code and was extremely loud and noisy within mins of starting cycle. They were prompt to set up appt. Bruno came and told me I needed a heating element and sensors replaced. We spoke of the issues including the horrific noise it made. He quoted me $400 to repair. I specifically asked him if the machine was worth putting that in to as I acquired this dryer from purchasing my home a few yrs ago. He said yes and assured me that replacing the heating element and sensors would take care of it. He came back 2 days later to install new parts. When finished, I was concerned as the dryer was still making that loud awful noise when running. He said, oh, that's the motor. I started digging more and said that he never once disclosed that the noise was coming from the motor not the heating element. He said that was a separate problem, to keep an eye on the motor and if needed to be replaced would be another $250. I was horrified as he never ever mentioned that this was a potential problem. Had I been told, I would have never invested the money for these other parts knowing that the motor was having an issue and may not last much longer. I would have just invested in a new dryer. I feel this was very dishonest. The noise was one of the issues I mentioned and it was certainly loud and obvious enough for no one to ignore. He took out the new parts installed which I directed him to do as I told him I never would have made the decision to fix had I known about this motor issue as well. Very disappointed and feel that being a female, I was taken advantage of.
Addendum: The owner of the company, Carlos, reached out to me today to better understand the situation. He apologized for the experience I had and offered to refund the service fee I paid. He seems to really care about his reputation and what his customers think and I really appreciate that and respect him for that. Thank you Carlos!

After reviewing the service, we explained that our technician initially focused on the error messages and the shutdown issue caused by the failed heating element. Unfortunately, he did not identify the source of the loud noise during the first visit, which led to a misunderstanding when the motor issue became clear only after the heating element was replaced. We understand how this affected your decision, and we sincerely apologize for that oversight.
As discussed, we removed the installed parts and issued a full refund for the service. We never want a customer to feel misled or taken advantage of, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to address the situation. Your feedback helps us improve our communication and diagnostics so this does not happen again.

Master of appliances came out in 2 days to look at my broken dryer. They inspected, installed some sensors but the dryer still did not work. They gave a quick estimate to repair it but they did not recommend it since it would have cost more than what I paid for it. I’m very happy with the service.

I highly recommend Master Of Appliances for appliance repair. I called on a Thursday morning. They were able to send a repair technician the next day. They asked me for a photo of the serial number of my old gas dryer when I scheduled my appointment. Bruno arrived with the parts in the truck. Belt and pulley were replaced in about 30 mins. Excellent communication and customer service.

The spin cycle on our 7 year old GE washer was not shutting off properly and we were having to do it manually. Fernando came out and diagnosed a sensor that needed replacing. That fixed the problem. The price was reasonable and we decided to repair rather than replace. Prompt and excellent service.
