Mason automotive is where I take all of our vehicles to. You tell them what you need done and they will also do a courtesy inspection and tell you about what they had found. The guys at mason do not try and sale you anything that is not a safety issue, they tell you about it and leave it up to you. Fair and honest guys couldn’t ask any better.

I recieved an honest overview of what was needed for my car. Even though they couldn't diagnose the issue I came in for because of another problem, I learned about a bigger issue that could be very dangerous if left uncorrected. This saved me from a possible life altering issue.

Last year about this time of year, we were new to the Bloomington area and were looking for a honest mechanic. We had an honest mechanic for thirty-four years prior to relocating here. One the first try, we went to Mason Automotive on Yost Avenue last year. They fixed the primary issue and then Mason Automotive tried to convince me something else was wrong with my vehicle when over a year later the problem cited never happened. I questioned them intently about it and discovered it was just a ruse. Some may call it suggestive sales and fall prey to it I never went back there for service. They sent a reminder. We found an honest mechanic on the second try. Total honesty is always best for having loyal customers. It is the right thing to do. I forgive them for their actions. We are all sinners saved by God's grace. Satan is like a roaring lion roaming about seeking who he may devour.

These guys did a complete checkup on my 2010 Escape. It had so many issues, expensive issues that they were honest in telling me not to get the repairs. It wouldn't be worth doing. I will definitely use them in the future. Hopefully not in the near future though. Thanks guys.

I have been coming here for the past 4 years and I have nothing but amazing things to say about these guys!! They are always kind and helpful. As a single woman who needs lots of that when it comes to cars they always welcome my questions and give me friendly advice! My wife has a 2012 Santa fe in which we were using a previous mechanic who was putting recalled parts on it... so to be clear this meant we were changing parts on the car wayyyy to frequently.... we were told by the previous people that were working on our cars to just 'get a newer car' bcuz our car was just too old for a Hyundai? We went to masons and found out that all that previous spoke on BS was lies! We had my wife's car fixed FINALLY and a true diagnosis on both our vehicles.... We got a good bit of eork done on my wife's car, and ive has some work done on mine as well, and we couldnt be happier with these guys at mason!
