So what a great experience with the crew at Marktek, We had the ghost ll fitted to our 200 series landcrusier. We drove up from Ceduna the night before and dropped it off to Mark and his crew at Marktek installation at 8am the next morning the crew jumped on to it and with no hassles, and the job completed by 12pm. With a quick run down on the system by a team member we were heading back home by 1pm. What a fantastic experience with no bullshit or delays and not trying to up sell any other products.
Not to offten you experience this now days.

If you're looking for the best place to install camera and gps radio then this is the teck place.
I had mine install and the whole team was extremely helpful knowledgeable and truthful.
They install 9inch screen and extras & the team looked after my camry 2004 and even cleaned car.
They also followed up my problem with my sunglasses not able to see screen due to it being POLARISED GLASSES.
They called me to come back No charge,
AFTER GETTING ANOTHER TYPE OF GLASS PROTECTOR To FIX PROBLEM.
MY GLARE GONE ON SCREEN.!!
WOW THAT'S SERVICE AND ABOVE STANDARD OF CARE.

Absolutely phenomenal service. Was expecting to have to get an entirely new head unit, but the guys quickly identified the issue and saved me $$$. I'll definitely be going back for all of my auto electric aftermarket needs.

Had a little hiccup with my car the last few days where the speakers had been playing up not working properly after trying to fix it myself and having no luck i rang and spoke to someone here originally thought I was in for an expensive trip to get the problem solved but turned out to be a way less expensive problem. So glad I stopped in with these guys to get it checked

The guys at Martek have always done great. From installing sound detening in company vehicles, through to installing head units, speakers, reverse cameras and quickly being able to diagnose problems. Their friendly and professional service makes them very easy to deal with. Would highly recommend!

Really dissapointed with my experience.
These guys were reccomended to me by a few people. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. The head unit they installed Xtrons is actually pretty good unit for the money but that's where everything else fell over. I went twice initially for tweeter repair and head unit update. Numerous problems then occurred which I reported and I was treated like I was an idiot reporting the issue's. I could not listen to my sound system. 2nd time after reporting the issues some problems were partly removed by removing/ discommecting speakers and playing with EQ. Here i become more frustrated as several issues still remained such as ground earth loop. Sounded terrible still. After several discussions I got more work done after hoping the new work would resolve the issues. I also got other work done in good faith. After receiving my car back for the third time I decided to go elsewhere and have my car inspected. Several issues were reported to me some I was unaware of some I was. The newly installed front tweeters were crushed between the speaker and tweeters and were throw away. After spending a considerable amount more money elsewhere all problems were identified and repaired. I then went back to report these faults. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in and I kept my cool and I was polite. Again I was treated with distain and like I was a fool. I asked for some money back for work that was corrected elsewhere. I was given $200, this barely covers the extensive rectification works. Let alone the $2800 investment to start with. 2 starts because it's not the installers fault and the head unit does what it's supposed too. I won't be back for anymore work. The installer reached to me after to appolagise which I respect him for it. He knows his stuff. The rest im sorry was poor!
Very Poor Experience: Depending on who you speak is the issue. Seemingly knowledgeable and had the product to the job BUT:
Techs lacking in real world experience, arrogant especially if challenged and not forthcoming with useful information unless pushed. Long story short, a return to their store to correct tweeter issues to be told ācouldnāt be faulted checked everything and itās all goodā was the hand back comment. Unfortunately they were not dealing with a complete novice albeit one who didnāt do any real ādue diligenceā before deciding on them. Marktek talk a lot, but seriously lack quality skills and an affinity for the client, except Paul. Reality is that insufficient pre work review conducted, mistakes in application and no respect for the client. Do Not use MarkTek for your precious audio requirements. Thereās more but to give a positive review would be a lie:
