We couldn’t be happier with the work Marine Specialties did on our dock. Steve, Charlie and the team did a great job for us. We couldn’t use the upper level of our dock last year but now we with this work completed, we can’t wait for warm summer months to arrive.

Due to the recent storm we had some issues with our dock that needed immediate attention. Since I was traveling out of state I was concerned . Once I made the call my mind was put at ease . The process was seem less and William and Martin arrived on the same
Day and did a super job to rectify our issues. We have used MSI for all of our dock related issues since 2006 and we would highly recommend them

I’ve now worked with Marine Specialties twice and have had a great experience both times. Several years ago they installed the riprap along my shoreline, and recently I hired them again to install anchor poles on my dock to help secure a larger boat. In both cases their pricing was the most competitive compared to other quotes I received, and the overall experience was excellent. Communication was quick and professional, especially over email, and they were very responsive with estimates and scheduling. The crew showed up when they said they would, kept the work area clean, and delivered high-quality work with no issues. A special thanks to Steve Caputo (Field Manager) for staying on top of the project, Joseph (Service Manager) for coordinating everything, and Horacio (Boat Captain) along with the crew for doing a great job. I would absolutely recommend Marine Specialties and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.

We are in the process of adding steps and rip/rap to our dock on Lake Lanier. Miguel and Juan , from Marine Specialties, were on time, courteous but most of all completed an excellent job with exceptional craftsmanship. All cuts are square, the 6x6 foundations are deep in concrete making the steps solid as can be. The hand rails were smoothed with rounded edges which makes them functional with no splinters.
Needless to say I was greatly impressed with these two gentlemen. THANKS !

We needed to upgrade our boat lift on short notice and as many lake property owners know. It can be difficult to get anything done quickly and at a competitive price. I reached out to Casey at Marine Specialties and he was incredible to work with. He was very responsive and insightful about our current system and what we needed in order to support a bigger boat. He was competitive on price and was able to get a new system for us in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this business and ask for Casey if you can. Great guy to work with!

After talking with several companies about a new dock, I landed at Marine Specialties. Mac Powell, the dock mgr, was great to work with. Mac really knows docks but if there are any questions, he goes to the source for an answer and gets back with you in a timely manner. MSI docks offer better material and workmanship than the others (imo). Thanks to Mac and all the people at MSI who put this thing together. Awesome!

The guys were awesome. They did a great job very friendly knowledgeable and did exactly what they said they were gonna do. I will always use them every time. I need something fixed on my dock.

We recently had Marine Specialties install new steps down to our dock, and they look great. Miguel and Victor conducted the work in sub freezing weather and did a great job with the construction as well as communicating with me regarding their plans and progress.

Moving a dock as lake levels change can be challenging if you lack help, time, or physical ability. For three years, Marine Specialties has managed not only relocating my dock but also maintenance. Earlier this year, they promptly replaced a snapped cable at a reasonable price. Recently I requested the dock checked again when I thought another cable had broken. The professional crew arrived the next day. They determined the cables were fine and moved the dock for current lake levels without extra charges. I chose an annual relocation contract. The crews and staff are efficient and courteous. I highly recommend Marine Specialties for hassle-free dock management so you can enjoy your time at the lake.

Marine Specialties did a great job replacing floats and repairing the connection between the pier and the bridge to our dock.

Francisco and Armando did a great job installing a boat lift, jet ski port, and dock bumpers. They let me know when they would be there, when they would be finished, and explained operation of the equipment upon completion. I would definitely recommend them!

Our gorgeous new Marine Specialties dock was delivered yesterday, and we love it! A HydroHoist boat lift goes in today.
The entire process was very smooth, and dealing with Mac Powell was a pleasure. From our first meeting, through all the back & forth of layout, options & pricing, to our walk through inspection yesterday, Mac has been wonderful. Quick to respond to questions, extremely knowledgeable and always upbeat and friendly. He made it a fantastic experience.
I visited the build site twice and enjoyed watching the dock go together. The MSI crew that built the dock, moved our old dock and delivered the new dock were also amazing.

More great service in 2026!! I just had Marine Specialties add a second HydroHoist lift to my dock. I bought a 21' center console bay boat for fishing, and worked with Casey Flanagan to get a new 6600 lb HydroHoist lift for our 26' tritoon and move the 5000 lb HydroHoist under the tritoon over to the other slip and reconfigure it for the fishing boat. Many thanks to Francisco, Cody, Armando and Josh for the great work they did. Cody also measured the tritoon for a new Marine Concepts track system boat cover that I ordered. Marine Concepts - the best on Lanier!!

Trace and Ben arrived on time and within an hour had the problem identified and fixed. They then called back later in the day to make sure I was happy with everything they did to address the issue.
