I always look forward to getting a luxury pedicure at MD @John Lewis. Sadly, yesterday was a shock to my system. I believe the therapist's name is Farah. She exhibited such diabolic attitude all through my session. She applied the nail drill to my toenail at full speed shaving it down paper thin in an instant. The pain was excruciating. I literally jumped out of my skin wondering what had happened. Not a word of apology. I requested that she reduce the speed. A few minutes later, there was a repeat! I realised she'd turned the speed up yet again. I asked for another therapist. She rudely informed me that she was the only one available. I left in pain with very dry feet and extremely sore nail beds which I am still nursing. My advise is to stay away from this particular staff. She is malicious for reasons best known to her. One star is for the sympathetic receptionist who apologised profusely for the shoddy service i received.

To Margaret Dabbs: Your Brand Promises Premium Care – But Your Team Is Letting You Down I initially saw the Principal Podiatrist at the Westfield clinic 31st May for a medical pedicure and received excellent care. Based on his advice, I returned 19th July for a medical pedicure as advised to check-up on my big toe and a simple nail trim, nothing complex. Unfortunately, this proved to be a serious mistake. The podiatrist I saw on the second visit aggressively overcut my toenails, leaving the nail beds visibly exposed. I only realised the extent of the damage when I got home and began to feel significant discomfort. My nails had been completely butchered. I returned to the clinic seeking an explanation on the 23rd July. Even the senior staff were unable to justify what had been done. There was no accountability, no resolution, only a vague recommendation to submit a formal complaint, which, based on other reviews, is unlikely to lead anywhere meaningful. To make matters worse, I received shellac during the appointment, so I couldn’t see the full extent of the damage. When I later had the shellac removed, I was told my nails had been thinned so severely they were almost down to the nail bed in parts. I’ve spent nearly £300 across two visits to the Westfield Clinic, and now I’m unable to wear sandals during the summer as my nails look horrendous! I’m absolutely gutted! The service I received is far from premium. I strongly advise against booking a medical pedicure at Margaret Dabbs. Their brand message may promise excellence, but my experience has shown otherwise.

First visit to Margaret Dabbs. Had a Medical Pedicure done by Smit which I thought was excellent. He was very thorough and knowledgable and did a great job. I learnt a lot about my feet and solved a few issues. Opted to have the 3D scan which was included which was well worthwhile and added some further information.

I was disappointed with my recent experience. The nail technician seemed to be rushing the service, mentioning she had shopping to do at Westfield. The cuticle work was very poorly done—only 7 out of 10 nails were trimmed, and not with care. I had to ask for the thick polish to be redone, even after that they were still very uneven. She placed me under the dryer and walked off to use her phone by the reception desk for the last 15minutes of my appointment. For £48, I expected a much higher standard of service. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend Margaret Dabbs.

I had an appointment yesterday with Christian, and after a long time searching for the right place to take care of my feet and nails, I’m so glad to say I’ve finally found it. He was very professional and gave me lots of helpful information about how to care for them, along with some great tips. The place is very clean, which I really appreciate. I 100% recommend it!

Had my first pedicure at MD White City today and it was marvellous. My therapist (Julia or Gulia) was lovely and worked wonders on my very neglected feet. She also recommended a medical pedicure next time, but meanwhile my feet feel lovely and look great. Thank you.
