Visited on the way home from Hertfordshire Zoo. We were greeted by Giuseppe who was 10/10, very friendly and helpful. We ordered olives and doughballs for starters (we got a 2nd order of doughballs as the kids loved them). The homemade lemonade was also excellent. For fussy eater 3 year old, we ordered the Margherita with less sauce/extra cheese and this went down a treat. 1 year old had tomato pasta. For the adults, the Fussili Aubergine as the vegetarian option was "the best pasta dish" ever, good portion size, very tasty. The star of the show though was the pizza, more specifically The Butcher. I did a double take at the price, £20...BUT, the combination of Pepperoni, ham, sausage and salami could not be ignored. Forget the "meat lovers" pizza from the usual chains, this one beats them all hands down. Did I need extra fluid due to the salt content...yes. Did I get heartburn...yes. Did I regret it...not a chance. This was by far the best pizza I have ever had and well worth it all. Following this, we had ice cream for the kids (there is a wide selection). Chocolate fudge cake which was delicious and the banofee pie(a personal fave) and topped off with liquor coffee and a black coffee. Overall an excellent experience and o e which we would definitely do again. (There are also themed nights but unfortunately we are not local to visit often)
