Absolutely beautiful and amazing experience. Better than La fortuna waterfall. So glad I stopped on my way to monteverde. For $17 you get to see 5 waterfalls in a 2 hour hike. This place is family owned and I’ve never met kinder people. Stop and go. It’s worth it.

This place was pretty cool! The man in the check-in spot was very informative, helpful and super friendly and welcoming . (Sorry forgot his name). He also drove us to start of the falls trail and picked us back up and even brought us fresh coconuts! The trail to the falls is pretty steep with a lot of steps, so make sure you know that going in. Just go slow and take your time, it’s worth it. The falls themselves are awesome and you can even swim in one! Great experience. Oh and another cool thing was the little local dog who went the whole way with us. He showed us the way and never left our sides. Great little guide! Bring him some treats if you can, he’s a hard little worker! Definitely recommend stopping and enjoy the falls if you pass by. Thanks!!

Geen waterval verslag. Maar gewoon van het café met uitzonderlijk goede koffie. Ja, een kwestie van smaak waar wij vonden het heerlijk. De eigenaar had deze locatie pas kortgeleden gehuurd, dus niet alles was op orde. Wat we wilden eten? Zeg het maar, dan kijk ik wat er in de keuken is. En dan komt er een overheerlijke verse tortilla. En water van het huis. Natuurlijk bonen gekocht en voldaan weer op pad.

Nice stop on the way to Monteverde. Four waterfalls in total and one where it’s possible to swim and cool off. Almost no tourists there. The hike is a bit intense, but definitely worth it. The friendly owner drives you to the start of the hike and picks you up once finished. On your return a refreshing coconut awaits. Definitely recommended.

Expérience incroyable! Nous sommes arrêté là pendant notre Read trip et wow, 4 chutes à découvrir! Ils nous ont préparé un sandwich et les meilleures frites qu’on a mangé jusqu’à maintenant! Le proprio nous a reçu et nous a reconduit au début de la descente pour les chutes et il est venu nous reprendre 2 heures plus tard. Les 2 dernières chutes sont accessibles à la baignades. Nous étions seuls à se baigner dans la chute 3, en plein après-midi! Magnifique arrêt qui vaut le détour!

Lovely waterfall park ! It was a very nice experience. We had a lot of fun. It was peacefull to swimm in the waterfall. The hike was very beautifull. Certainly worth it! Also the owner of the park was so friendly and welcomed us with open arms. 😁🏞

Best stop on our way to Monteverde! Beautiful waterfalls to swim in and explore. The owners are super friendly, helpful, drove us the first bit to start the hike and when they came to pick us up, they showed up with a coconut to drink! Muchas gracias! :) would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend and extremely underrated waterfalls to visit on your way to Monteverde! The man that greeted us at reception was so kind. Priced well! Several different waterfalls that you can cool off in. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed! Pura Vida!

We decided to stop here on a whim while travelling to La Fortuna. WOW this was the highlight of our trip! after being driven to the trailhead we hiked down to the five different and unique waterfalls. The trails were very well maintained and the swimming was so refreshing! We were the only ones at the Rainbow waterfall swimming and it was so beautiful and an experience I will never forget! This is a small family operation and they were absolutely fantastic!

Splendid stop! 5 lovely waterfalls that were accessible and visible through well preserved trails with a couple of displayed maps along the way. We were able to swim at the bottom of one of the waterfalls as well. We parked our sedan car at the reception and one of the staff members of the new owenership drove us down to the meeting point (about 1km). The entire hike took about 2.5 hours. We managed to see many lizards, birds and monkeys. On the way back, as previously arranged, Roy (staff member & experienced naturalist) picked us up and drove us back to the reception (no extra cost). On the way there, he spotted a toucan and a snake, which we would not have seen had we went by ourselves. I highly recommend this stop if you are driving between La Fortuna and Monteverde or staying near the Arenal Lake!

Wonderful experience, family is very attentive. $17 to enter and they drive you to the trailhead. Its a super well marked trail, basically paved steps and walkway the whole way. We only went to the 3rd waterfall, took us 2 hours with breaks to see and swim in the falls. It is a lot of stairs back up, took us about 20-30 min to climb the stairs out. Strenuous but not terrible. Not touristy, we were the only ones there. Will 100% be back to do this again, such a peaceful and unique experience!

Prachtige watervallen! De nieuwe eigenaren zijn erg professioneel en gaan er een hele mooie rrvaring van maken! Zeker een aanrader! Wel wat stijle trappen, maar dat krijg je met zoveel en zulke hoge watervallen.

We spontaneously found this place, and the experience was amazing! Roy was giving us the best Tipps, talked us through everything and shared his knowledge about the nature and all the different animals. Thank's to him we saw our first tucan (two different kinds!) and some white face monkeys! The waterfalls are gorgeous and swimming directly under the waterfall was an experience for life. Roy, his wife and daughter are some of the kindest people we met on our trip. His wife gave us really good recommendations about food spots and her fathers bakery! - check out is a must! With Roy we stopped at an amazing place and got to see the most gorgeous sunset ever, the place is gorgeous and hearing all the animals sing while watching the sunset, being able to feel the comfort of beautiful silence was a dream! And a big shout out to the amazing tour guide Bruno the dog! Always up for kisses! If you are in Monteverde or driving by, this is definitely the one experience you don't wanna miss out on! Great stop between La Fortuna and Monteverde. (45 minutes from Monteverde). Staff was extremely helpful. It was $17 per person which includes a shuttle to the start of the hike. You don’t have to take the shuttle but would be crazy not to. It’s a hard hike! Take water. I counted each step up from the end back to the start and it was 600! Beautiful views! Took us two hours. (66 years old)

This was an absolutely beautiful hike to 5 waterfalls! If you are driving between La fortuna - Monteverde I highly recommend stopping here! The husband and wife who run the grounds are so nice and they take such good care of the trails! It’s definitely a strenuous walk w lots of stairs but part of it they will drive you up and down if you’d like! Otherwise it’s a great workout with the special treat of swimming in the lake at the bottom of one of the falls. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon!!
