Our first safari in Tanzania was truly unforgettable. From the moment we were picked up in Arusha, everything was well organized and seamless. As a family, we enjoyed incredible wildlife sightings in the Serengeti, including large herds of wildebeests and zebras, along with a cultural visit to a Maasai village. No matter the time difference even late at night in Tanzania he was always available to reply to our messages and adjust our itinerary to suit our needs. Everything was clearly explained regarding our private safari booking, and even when we had a small misunderstanding about some documentation, it was handled quickly and professionally with updated quotes sent to us including all the necessary details. My friend is Italian and speaks limited English, so we were provided with an Italian-speaking guide. This made a huge difference, as she was able to fully enjoy the experience with clear explanations in her own language. The safari itself was fantastic. We appreciated the inclusion of snacks and alcoholic drinks in the vehicle, which added comfort and convenience throughout the journey. Since we were only two people, we had plenty of space in the vehicle, making the entire trip even more comfortable. We also loved the personal touch as we were celebrating my friend’s birthday, a surprise cake was arranged during one of the dinners, along with a traditional singing and dancing performance by the lodge staff. This made the experience truly special and unforgettable. The accommodations varied in style and comfort, but overall were enjoyable, and the vehicle remained very comfortable throughout. Lunches were served hot every day, and while my friend absolutely loved the meals especially the chicken as a vegetarian I found the options a bit limited though there was always something available. The game drives were flexible and tailored to our interests, with the guide making every effort to help us spot the animals we were most excited to see. We were incredibly lucky to see all of the Big Five, which made the experience even more rewarding. Payment was also very convenient. We appreciated having the option to pay by credit card in advance, which helped avoid the stress of traveling with large amounts of cash. We had a really great safari with Mamnana Adventures. From the start, the communication was clear and quick, and everything during the trip was well arranged and went very smoothly. There were a few animals we wished to see but didn’t manage to find, but of course that’s part of nature. Even so, we were very happy with everything we experienced. While we were in Sourthern Serengeti (Ndutu), it even rained at one point while we were out in the bush. Instead of spoiling the trip, it actually made the safari feel like a real adventure and we enjoyed it a lot. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a trip we will always remember.
